I've been using 10.3 for the last few years and after reading that some improvements for InnoDB were in 10.5 was wondering whether I should upgrade to 10.5 or 10.6. What is suggested?
One thing I noticed in the changes was this though

Are there any considerations about this on the part of IPS?

Thanks for the update @stoo2000! I have installed it a couple of minutes ago and so far so good.

The updated version is now available, thanks for your patience 🙂
That is not correct. As noted in our previous conversation about it, this was because your emails were failing to send through SES and a query Invision Community was running to update a flag on failed emails was taking a long time (due to the large number of failed emails).

On php8, it prevents me from logging into the ACP and completing new user registration on the front end so I had to disable it.

    php error log shows:

I lost access to AdminCP and had to open a ticket. IPS support helped me to use the recover mode and told me to disable Mail Bouncer.
I would appreciate a new version fixing the bug.
    Thanks!

Decided to take a day off today, so the weekend started early.
This was fun to figure out - will upload a new version to fix the issue, but if anyone has the following specific situation then contact me via PM for patch details:

    Hello there,
I've been told that it works with Wasabi but I've only personally tested it with AWS S3 as that's what's I use. The plugin adds Http Expires Headers (to compressible JS and CSS files), it doesn't communicate with the S3 API at all, so an S3 compatible service like Wasabi should be fine providing it already works with IPS without the plugin.
    Regards,
    Graham

sobrenome got a reaction from Myr in Use ImageMagick to convert uploaded images to WebP
ImageMagick is used by IPS to handle uploads of images, resizing them, compressing them and creating thumbnails.
Why not give the community admin the option to use ImageMagick to convert uploaded images by users to WebP?
As long as WebP is now accepted by IPS 4.6, I imagine that would be very simple to add this feature to the suite.
I am having a great experience converting the images that I post on my community to WebP. Same quality and much less bytes than JPG or PNG or GIF.

No, Mailbouncer does not interact with the email error logs at all. I would suspect you have a large number of emails that failed to send and the update query is taking a long time. Invision would be the best to help you with this.

There's currently no option to set icons being maskable or not.
And IPB, by default doesn't set the maskable attribute.

Google Lighthouse Audit as such doesn't rate the PWA setup as optimized.

Would be great to either set it by default in the manifest file, or add an option for us to set the maskable attritbute ourselfs.

Of course, this isn't just about Google Lighthouse Rating improvement, but it also allows us to mask the icon 😉

Indeed. Such a great feature that cannot be used on a live website because of a little moderation tweak.
