  2. Comment Application

From what I understand, you're asking for something similar to IP.Content?
  3. Version 4 and IPS Market Place

Hello, As AndyF said - the IPS Marketplace is simply IP.Downloads using IP.Nexus, and it's pretty much out of the box functionality once you have both applications installed. If you want to try it out I recommend that you try our demo here: https://www.invisionpower.com/demo/
  4. I doubt buy IPS

Hello, If I'm understanding your question correctly, you want to know if plugins from the IPS Marketplace are free when you purchase the software, that's a yes and no answer. Some are free and some are paid, you can view the IPS Marketplace here: http://community.invisionpower.com/files/ Please let me know if you have any further questions.
  5. Custom permissions (now and future)

Hello, I'm afraid we have not released any information about the members list and the permission system in general in IPS4 - however if you keep an eye on our company blog you may see some new entries in the future: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> / Please let me know if you have any further questions.
  6. Hello, You can integrate IP.Board with WordPress relatively easily. There is an application on the Marketplace which does provide integration out of the box here: http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/6089-wordpress-ipsconnect/ Alternately you could roll your own by following our Single Sign On documentation, which you can see here: http://www.invisionpower.com/support/guides/_/advanced-and-developers/integration/ Please let me know if you have any further questions.
  7. Hello, Unfortunately using different URL's for one IPB isn't possible by default, though you may be able to have a modification created which does this for you. What I think may be easier for you is to set up TWO IP.Board installations (Which would require two licenses), one for the Teachers and one for the Students, and link them via IPS Connect, with the Teachers IPB as the Master. This way, teachers should be able to log into the Students IPB without having to create a new account, and should it be needed, Students would be allowed to log into the Teachers IPB without needing a new account. Though for privacy concerns you could set up the Teachers IPB in such a way that the Students would not be able to view content unless they were in a specific usergroup. Alternately, you could use usergroups and permissions as Murilirum suggested, having one Teachers usergroup and one Students usergroup. You could then set up certain forums to only show to the Teachers usergroup, and certain forums to only show to the Students usergroup. That would only require one IP.Board and one URL. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
  8. Unfortunately users cannot request group memberships by default, though an application from the IPS Marketplace may be able to do this for you. In fact, having a quick look the >Social Groups application or the >Applications System application may do what you need. Of course both of these are provided by third parties so if you have any questions on the capabilities of these apps you'll need to contact the authors. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
  9. Thinking about coming to IPB

Hello, As others have said, IP.Downloads with IP.Nexus integration is able to provide a Paid Files option, where users have to pay to download a file. You can see this in action here with the IPS Marketplace: http://community.invisionpower.com/files/ If you're not sure I encourage you to sign up for a demo at https://www.invisionpower.com/demo/ which includes IP.Downloads and IP.Nexus Please let me know if you have any further questions.
  10. Custom Profile Field: Span?

Hello, I'm afraid that you will need to login with your customer account, or have the site owner do so, to receive support for your issue here. We cannot support you in the Pre-Sales Forum. Thank you!
  11. IPS Demo

Hello, Sorry for the delay in replying here. You can find our IP.Content documentation here: http://www.invisionpower.com/support/guides/_/ips-community-suite-apps/ip-cont/ - Some documentation is included with the core product under the articles also. Yes, with a custom BBCode. Not at this time I'm afraid, however this is something planned for the upcoming IPS 4 release. You can read about our changes to the Editor in IPS 4 here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Technically you can only add a Poll to the first post in a topic, so you'd see it when creating a new topic by clicking the "Manage Poll Options" button. We'll have to look into this however I believe to limit spam, emails are disabled on the demo system. Your AdminCP is at /admin/ - so for you it should be http://a57024.demo.invisionpower.com/admin/index.php You'll need to add a custom BBCode to do this, however by default no you cannot align images. This is simply to limit spam on our forums, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
  12. Custom forum?

Hello, IP.Content databases can do this for you. You'd simply need to set up a Custom Database on a new page which does this. You can see an example of a custom database with our Bug Tracker: http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/bugs.html Another custom database example is our Community Contributed Articles here: http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/articles.html Additionally, the entire invisionpower.com site is powered by IP.Content, including our Documentation area (which has a few template customisations and shows off what you can do with IP.Content), which you can see here: http://www.invisionpower.com/support/guides If you're curious, I encourage you to sign up for the demo and have a play with IP.Content for yourself.
  13. Few payment questions

Hello, That simply means that your chat room will be limited to 5 users, it does not limit your online user limit for the board. You can see an example chat room here: http://community.invisionpower.com/chat/ You can read more about the IP.Chat application here: http://www.invisionpower.com/apps/chat/ (It's free for 5 users)
  14. Migrating from vBulletin5 to IPB

As Andy said, running a trial conversion on the demo system is not possible I'm afraid.
  15. Forms Addon

It sounds like you want a quiz or polls?
