number of download left is easier to do, does IPS have fixed permanent number download? or maybe that's their own mod

took a look, can be done but very ugly code because official function i can hook into is huge

I have kinda working coding but if i release the plugin/app it would have been taken down in 7 days due to not having active license

you have access to phpmyadmin? go to the database find the table and click repair

REPAIR TABLE `<table name>`;

it's adsense, nothing to do with application, you need to configure it on adsense

it's automatic ad, google uses algorithm to determine the placement, go to your adsense setting and view issue page and add location exclusion

I have tried manually adding subscriber, unfortunately they don't expire and since no payment info was submitted they never get charged

I agree, I developed my apps for my own website, decided to share in marketplace if other find any use

I didn't develop in intention to sell lot of copies

marketplace already has filter for each minor releases, if i and IPS following best practices, then almost all cases patch update of system shouldn't break it

it's been more than a year since last minor release, if I have to keep my license active just for other to be able to download it, I will be deep net negative

this hurts the customer who purchase the plugin won't be able to install it or update it, it also hurts my reputation

revoking access to marketplace when license expire even if user has active subscriptions

and removing existing item from marketplace listing if dev's license expire (not sure about this, please confirm)

sounds overkill to me

so if my license expires in a week, and i just paid renewal of marketplace items for another half / full year

that means I only have access to them for a week? this on top of 20% commission you're charging developer while also require active license just to have access to marketplace

for real?

i can tell you it is still present, but i have not seen double ad side by side for a while

on download it's based on category, where do we set restriction on club?

I honestly think it'd be a GAME CHANGER for IPB if it exists 😁

a lot, obviously at front the template layout change that support layered replies, updating quote and reply comment

behind the scene, also change to how contents are pulled, threads are paginated, but in reddit style you may have 1st page comment with replies in 88th page

this can be overcome by adding additional column that map to a comment id

post per page will need to change, as you now might have some pages with more comments than other (altho this can be restricted by validating total comments pulled before ouput but then since replies are display in layer this will impact uniformity of each page

at this point might as well just do infinite scroll of post, accommodating new list with ajax request

and then maybe voting comment up, that's another can of worm (logically with current database structure we have to sort all posts linked to a thread first for that, this would slow down db operation a bit depending size

these are just some stuff i come up in few seconds, sure there gonna be more

I actually thought about reddit style replies, the app along is gonna be quite some work

what you can do right now is install a fresh IPS and compare the table structure

possible due to php.ini fpm timeout config
