Andy Millne got a reaction from Ramsesx in Photo Competition (Support Topic)
This is intentional. Invision Community builds these dynamically but they're not relevant for this so are added as blank entries.

I think it was the language string „menutab__competition_icon“. You must not translate this language string.

I increased those two values and so far all uploads went through. 👍

There aren't any limits in Invision Community that would restrict this, no. It sounds like there might be a PHP variable such as post_max_size or max_input_vars. You should be able to check these in phpinfo or by checking with your host.

Andy Millne got a reaction from sound in possible bug/error - event container now has hard coded monthly view
Thanks for clarifying. I have added a bug report for this issue as I can see the problem in that scenario.

thanks for the reply Andy @Andy Millne
ok understand that working as above is fine and should be intended if you are indeed using the 'overview' as per the selected option
however if you are not using the 'overview' as the default selection, say you select the 'week view' as default then every event will have a link that will now send viewers to the 'month' page and the same for any calendars using 'day view'
which to someone using the week or day view as 'default' choice does bring in major usability issues along with seo ones
Could you not add a 'if \IPS\Settings::i()->calendar_default_view== overview add the ?view=month ' and if not..
then leave the static url as generic so that the week, and day views choices as default are then respected and followed?
thanks

Andy Millne got a reaction from sam1234 in I got a warning from Google, but I do not know exactly what it means?
This would imply that the page referenced has two entries for AggregateRating in the source code json-ld. In reviewing the code I can't see how this would be possible however.
Can you add the link to the actual page so we can check the source?

No changes are required for 4.7. I have updated the compatibility in the marketplace.

Andy Millne got a reaction from SMen in What Elasticsearch version is supported well?
Opensearch support has been confirmed for 2.1 and the error will be removed in a future Invision Community version.

Andy Millne got a reaction from SeNioR- in Issue with translating to male/female + singula/plural words
Unfortunately there isn't an immediate solution we can offer with regard to these specific gendered word cases. I would suggest emulating the French and German language translations where they have used neutral options.

Andy Millne reacted to My Sharona in Locked task issue
Yes, thank you. @Andy Millne, thank you as well sir!
Again, thank you and I do apologize for my saltiness. You have to understand though that I witnessed the demise of vBulletin. It was tragic to be a part of and witness the decline of what was once preeminent. Please don't ever let that happen to you guys. You have the best product out there, keep it that way.

Is it possible to add a second option, where we can choose which option is the best.
So a 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place could have multiple people, would be nice.

Your server (via ini_get('memory_limit')) is reporting the memory limit as "512" rather than "512M". This is something your host would need to investigate.
