    Hi,
Revolut becoming very popular way of getting pay. It is beating alternative for PayPal in aspect of fees while keeping even better Customer experience because it is very simple way of paying. While PayPal is only financial institution, Revolut is a bank already, so you have real bank account that allows you to take card payments, wired payments, payments on @nickname, or payment for mobile number. It is a way quicker than PayPal and way more modern for now days. IPS, @Matt, @Lindy, please consider a gateway for Revolut Pay: https://developer.revolut.com/

I bought SuperBlocks and LOVE it! It gave my front page a much needed face lift and I have some other ideas for it in future.
@opentype, I don't expect you to add this. My Pages database goes back to the beginning of time when the articles system, by default, included a teaser field.  We still use this.  Could you direct me to where in the code I could modify SuperBlocks to pull the teaser field instead of an excerpt from the body?
    Thanks.

🌸 Welcome to this week's Invision Community Insight! 🌸
Thank you for checking out this weekly round up post. I hope you have had a wonderful week! In the comments below, feel free to say hello and let us know how this week is treating you.

From the Invision Community team, this week ...

    Current Happenings
Our May beta is ready for you!
As with all beta releases, upgrading your community is at your own risk. Please make sure you backup before upgrading!
Here is what is slated for the May release, version 4.7.10. https://invisioncommunity.com/release-notes/

Courses is here as part of the May release! 🎉
What a powerful feature! Want to create a short onboarding experience for your members? This could be a Welcome note, Did you know? bullets to help members know where to start, and then a mandatory acknowledgement piece if that is required for your community. This is all possible with the new Courses application. How are you hoping to use this feature? Check out our latest blog post for the details:

Email Bounce Management is coming in May. 🎉
For Cloud customers, we are adding the ability for you to view reports on bounced/complaint emails, take action on member accounts (purge them or mark them as no notifications), and unblock emails that our platform may be refusing to email. Check out our latest blog post:

Note: There is a character limit for the short name field, but I'm finding inconsistent information on exactly what that number is because it can be different for Chrome or iOS, but err on the side of shorter.
That said, Cheers & Gears does just barely fit... so for iOS, that limit might be ~14

We do not have support for the Badging API at this time, likely to be something we add in a future version though.

CheersnGears reacted to KT Walrus in [Suggestion] Storage method: FTP
Please consider adding a separate Backblaze B2 storage method. The existing S3 method doesn’t completely work.
B2 is very cheap at $5/TB and when combined with free Cloudflare CDN, B2 has NO egress fees  So, all you pay is $0.005/GB stored  Using Cloudflare Workers, you can even make the whole bucket private.
Making a separate storage method for B2 will allow you to fix the small issues with using Amazon S3 method so B2 works completely.

This is great!  One suggestion however...  a user would not know they're being blocked unless the person happened to stumble into their email settings.
In my experience, this is very unlikely to happen.  Users don't check there often (or at all).  They may not even realize there is a problem or realize email has not been seen by them in a while to know to investigate.
Could you add some sort of front-end notification as well?

The red stripe could literally just be the email settings page you linked above where you explain the problem and ask the user to update their email.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

This album is set to private because it is embargoed content that I cannot release until 7 pm.  Opening my front page in In-Private viewing still shows the activity of me creating the Album, though the album's contents are not visible.
IMO, if the album is private, not even the activity of creating it should be visible.

None with IPS itself. I did get template issues with my marketplace template, so I dropped it back to 8.1.

CheersnGears reacted to Daniel F in Caching and views/hits increase
There’s a great way to utilize the cloudflare workers for the guest page counts, so that the page count is increased even if the guest gets only the cached page and the original request never makes it to your own server.
It’s going to take some time, but I’ll share the instructions ( or app) in few weeks

Find the IP address of the poster in your ACP and ban it.
    Also, look into a Cleantalk.org subscription. Best $16 a year you'll spend.

It's not necessarily iOS itself but the device it's on.
In this case, in order to use the operator Matt mentions, you need to be running iOS / iPadOS 13.4 - which is supported by (I think - a quick Google search didn't make it abundantly clear) iPhone 6S (released September 2015) and higher, and iPad Air 2 (released October 2014) and higher.
Any devices older than those may not work as we begin migrating to newer technologies because they can no longer be updated beyond the last version that they supported.

I didn't realize forums were that popular with the rest home set.... but I've been running a forum since the WWIV BBS days.
Eventually, the fix is going to be users upgrading their hardware. We can't and shouldn't expect IPS to hold back the entire suite just so a few users can keep using 10-year-old iPads.
I don't think IPS should have reverted that code if it benefited the suite. If it has been several years since Apple has supported the device, there's no reason that IPS should be.
