Ok...that, on it's own, doesn't help. Give more details....what are your settings? What version of IPS are you running? Is this the default theme, or a custom theme?

So something that highlights replies made by members of a specific group (native functionality)?

@James101 for the moment, add the following to your custom.css in your theme: .neNewMemberIpsMessage p:first-of-type{ margin:0; } I'll be adding that as commented out entry in the nenewmember.css file for the plugin when I release a new version - it can then be removed from custom.css and edited in the nenewmember.css file instead.

Right, an explanation as to why this happens: When you set "Hide poll results in all forums/topics?" to Off, then there are additional fields available: If you leave "Hide poll results in these forums/clubs" as 'All forums' then logically that also means 'All topics' too. Therefore, when the settings are saved then the "Hide poll results in all forums/topics?" setting is reset to On. I have spotted a bug where the "Hide poll results in these forums/clubs" will reset to 'All forums' after first save, which then results in the issue you are reporting happening on a second save, so will fix that.

@Jock3r I'm back on after a long while. Did you get yourself sorted on this one? I definitely think the plugin I did for @AlexWebsites will help you here - I did it as a POC back nearly 2 years ago, but never got around to releasing it to the Marketplace.

As the content added to the IPS message box is from an Editor, it's likely got the <p> </p> tags around the content. I'll look into that for you...see about stripping those out of the content I don't believe I added in an option for this - I'll take a look, and will add it in if it isn't there already.

I think it's on the MP still - above may have coincided with my license lapsing, but should have been sorted when I renewed a couple of months ago. There are no additional queries involved - the plugin modifies post content for display, after it has been retrieved by the IPS code itself, hiding the quoted content and then Javascirpt on the front-end is used to expose the quoted content for viewing if the user wishes to view it. I've got a couple of modifications I want to make to this plugin following some issues I had with it on my own site, so hopefully have an update out soon for it.

Ah, the plugin which started it all... Hello all - it's been quite a while since I have been on here but I am finding my way back in to the wild now. I've had some issues with my eyes which has severely impacted my ability to do pretty much anything screen related but we've got this under control over the last few months and I've recently been given the OK to get back to my proper day job (I work in IT) as long as I take proper rests instead of ignoring what my head is telling me it needs. Just want to update on what I've now got planned for this plugin - it's been so long since I've been able to look at it that I've kinda forgotten how it works, and where I was with the planned v2. As a result, I am going to do is convert it to an application and start from the ground up - get it working, build in a migration feature from the plugin to the application, and get it out to you guys to get back to having some dice to play with (my wife has recently started getting into this stuff, and it's interesting finally seeing how it all works in a live setting) I don't believe it does, but I'll make sure to add it in to the application version once I get back in to it.

However, I will respond to this one now: No - this is a Player and I have no intention at all of adding this functionality for you. If you require this functionality then I advise you to request is a custom work via the normal channels available to you on the forum.

Thanks for that - missed the notification on the question. All - I'm going to be releasing a new version of this plugin 'soon'. Been working on it for a long time, and just recently got back to it after having to take a break from development (the joys of glasses!!)....but the wait will be worth it.
