yes, go to ACP->CJ Menu->Primary Group, then click on "group management" and then click on "edit group". when the group settings open up, find "Enable Group" and click the toggle off and save the group. The default IPS menu should now be used instead of the cj menu primary group.

I haven't made any changes to the service since 2.6.4 was released, so if they suddenly stopped working, it might be something on your end, like a bad cache for the js files (have you tried clearing them using the support tool in the acp?). when i tested the ban/kick/etc features on the service, they all worked for me on my live site and dev site. i'll test again tonight when i get home and i'll check them out on your site as well.

i'm testing out the next update for it, will release sometime this week.

no you shouldn't if node.js is on the same server as your apache/nginx.

if you are using a port other than 443/80, a lot of public wifi's and companies will block the ability to connect to ports outside of like ports 21/22/80/443 and a few others. some firewalls (on their computers) might block those ports as well. (one of the reasons i have separate servers for the chat service, using port 443 cause of this potential issue).

no its not, it use the clubs trait, so it will throw an error.

you seem to think that there is a group of us that all we do is "troll" other developers in need and/or try to drive off other developers who we have deemed unworthy to be in our "little group", however the evidence is against you. you are always a "dindu nuffin", when in fact you are the worst kind of troll yourself. you play the victim regardless. there is always something or some one out there keeping you down, or attacking you. you use your alleged 'disabilities' as blunt object to hit people over the head with when they don't comply with your demands 100%. so yes if that makes me a troll for having zero continue sympathy for you and your plight as a "developer" then i am a troll. my price for continued help is to see what you've done so far. as soon as that became a condition to my continued help, you went on the defensive and lashed out, you were quite cheerful as long as i was "playing" your game, but as soon as i stopped you became hostile again. then you tossed in some randomness about being under a "confidentiality agreement", and like i told you then 'if that is the hill you want to die on" then so be it. you then continued to message me after i said i would stop replying till i saw an attachment to the pm. it was really frivolous stuff too and some were 'pity party' messages too. I think one of the messages was about how i was gonna cost you your house and home since i am being unreasonable in my request to help you, and others were about what cpu to buy and/or keyboard. then the icing of the cake came, you found a developer that validated everything you'd been saying all along, a single developer told you that you can do everything your own way, no need to listen to me or any one else cause it doesn't matter how you do it. so you found what you were looking for, some one told you it was okay to be a bad developer and not follow best practices and/or advice from others when it conflicted with 'your way". so i don't know what else you are waiting for.... August 2014 was when the beta's of IPS 4 rolled out that everyone had access too, so over 3 years now and counting, git er dun dindu!

the socket initially opens up a ajax request (XHR) to establish a connection with the chat service server, and then upgrades it to a websocket if it can. I'm gonna assume (since i have guest view enabled) that the mobile test isn't capable of making xhr and/or websocket connections, and it is a limitation of the test. the reason for the redundancy (why it shows it attempting to connect multiple times) is cause the socket.io code is setup if it can't establish a connection, to try a few more times with in a x amount of time (this also covers interruptions in internet too). I really don't see how i can "fix" this, as i don't think it is a problem, it is how the script is suppose to react.

    can you be more specific?

Sorry guys, got caught up in some RL stuff, i'm back now I've released a new version which allows you to set the size and quality of the avatar (the size will allow you to get better optimization out of the images than quality). working on a new version. hopefully this monday i will have an updated version, this one just sorta got lost in the cracks with the babble and other work. will be fixed in the next version.

well its gonna be 2 1/2+ years is my guess.

haven't finished it yet, a few other things took over my life when working on it and haven't had a chance to get back to it yet. the language string exist in both the regular lang and jslang portions, the key is "babble_disconnection". when i searched for it in the language pack, 2 came up (one is for the php side of things, the other is for the js side).

I have a g910 orion spark, which uses the romer-g key switches (which are more sensitive than the cherry reds). i personally prefer cherry brown's, you honestly can not go wrong with blue's or brown's. blue's are a bit louder and have a more audible feedback to 'em when they are triggered than brown's. i would say when using brown's, its like the firm feel of keys like on a laptop, they are very comfortable to use. as for big chain stores, microcenter, fryes and best buy are the only ones i know that have them on shelf to test out. you can try local computer stores, they might have a few for you to check out. about the only thing i would really stress on getting a mechanical, get one with a 10-key, the ones without a 10-key are frustrating (to me that is). the only thing i can really say is be on the look out for the "mechanical like" kb's, they are usually membrane keyboards, but use a "stem" that looks like a mechanical switch but all it does is pushes down the rubber nub. they've gained popularity over the last few years, but they aren't true mechanical's, and many of them can cost more than some of the economy mechanical kb's that use cherry clones (which would be far superior than any membrane kb).

I've made a video, maybe i am doing something differently than you, so if i am let me know. the only thing i can really suggest would be to enable it, and then disable 1 by 1 the other apps and see while kw enabled, the error goes away with another app/plugin. if that proves fruitless, check the actual server logs to see if there is anything in there (as IPS system logs aren't always comprehensive). my best guess is there another error that i am not coming across from KW or the error is present only in combination with another app/plugin.

it only shows if stores are enabled in the ACP and if the person has files: a person with files: and one without: same downloads, 2 different users. the first one has files, and this is what they see when they go to the downloads and the second user doesn't have any files, so they do not get a "store link".
