CP_User got a reaction from Matt in Invision Community: A decade in review
We've been around a similar time using some sort of 'community forum'. Started of as Yahoo Groups in the year 2000, then went to PHPBB (this was the software to use back then as it was free). And in 2007 we changed over to IPForums, we now have 1.7M posts and over 163,000+ (although we've pruned alot since) posts later and never looked back! We also run a few other communties using IPS (although these are small hobbies) but, we'd never turn to another company to use forums.

We look forward to another 10 years!

In the old widgets, they showed a small sample of the announcement text (which is one of the reasons that styling and link etc were stripped from it. What we've done for 4.3 is remove that preview and made all of the announcements show the titles only with the ability to open the rest of the information in a modal. The content of that formatted is fully rendered as you would expect.

You could change it if you want to, either by modifying the template or by using a CSS rule to target the icon tag. (CSS would be the safer way to do it).

Currently links within the announcement are not clickable (in the announcement box) both on the front page and when clicked. Is this something that can or will be added. If I have a short message with the URL within it, I would find it convenient that users are able to click it.

I know you can click a link when view the whole message.

Download again. Just added a message just in case someone tries to dismiss it via URL:

    Hide Dismiss Button.xml
    Added it to the marketplace:

I think it's a bug.  When you create Profile Completion after members already joined, the Profile Completion doesn't apply to prior members.  It shows as 100% completion even though required fields are missing.
I tested on the 42 diag site.  Check your opentype_tester account.
What does the Profile Completion in your account show? Also, I agree with CP's observation that once you dismiss the completion bar, it permanently hides it (which I think is contrary to the entire point of the completion bar).

This is what I was getting at the other day.... BTW, it's located in your profile under account settings. Which is not the place it should be, it should be on your main profile page!
Once you dismiss the message that it's, no way of getting it back. I will get round to adding feedback to this feature as I don't think it's well implemented (personally).

It's not a widget you can move around (which in my eyes would be a lot better to use), I'm sure someone could make it into a widget that we can place around the forum).
