Unless it has changed since I worked on this, I think one really important thing to call out is the GraphQL API respects permissions. The REST API treats requests as admin requests (unless you specifically use the OAuth flow to get a token). The GraphQL API uses the logged in member. So you can query a list of topics and it'll be accurate for that member, which is really handy.

Why don't you use a pre-fix with the title like: [Cloud Only] New Live Community Features!
Save all us self-hosters some time in our day...

I would also appreciate this functionality with Support Request replies for cases where a reply can wait until the next morning, but you don't want to forget to do it either.  Just make the reply at midnight, but queue it up to post at 8am.   If there are any new replies before it posts, perhaps cancel sending it.  Just an idea that pertains to how we use the suite!

By any chance would this be able to extend to the Contact Us page as well?

This could help against trolls plugging competitors products on company forums as well.  The functionality lends itself to a lot of scenarios.

Great message @Matt, its amazing to see how far things have come, and I'm proud to say I've been along for most of the ride starting in 2003, back when I was part of a gaming clan.  We needed a place to communicate, and the cobbled-together .NET website we had just wasn't cutting it.  Later on, I used it for a local car club which lasted until everyone's lives moved on, and eventually to run a business!  We are coming up on our 10th year in business on March 1st, all the while using a website built exclusively on Nexus/IPCommerce, Downloads, and Pages!
We are very grateful for the love and dedication you put into your products, and look forward to another 20 years!

That being said are you planning the ability for us to restrict what data is being sent? Via hook permissions or event payload modifications.  Of which, we have no controls to limit or work around it at this moment. In this current form we all would most certainly be violating all our own privacy policies by blindly sending payloads to Zapier and the like. We need to be able to see real data being sent not just an outline of data - it took me aback, when I starting seeing such data outside of my walled garden. If you currently are sending payloads from this site from topics / posts it would include many data points from each member that are traditionally for Admin eyes only. Does this pose implications with GDPR and other such laws or regulations.
I know that third party processors have their own policies and retention of data. But it reminds me of the phrase "your secret is safe with me, as long as the person I tell - doesn't tell."  My only wish is to protect the reputation of this platform and our collective communities and thwart any potential fallout if a data breach occurred. Yes API's are fun and magical but should be architected with a pessimistic opinion about security and privacy - first and foremost.
    I yield the soapbox. 😉

Great news! The most important difference between an app and IPS on web browser is notification in my opinion. Now it will be similar. Perfect!

I've been with you since the days of Ikonboard, so you I love you. However, I'm starting to grow concerned after reading that IPS have made a specific, conscious decision to start restricting features (albeit with the first) to cloud-hosted SAAS customers. It's perhaps akin the to the controversial Marketplace changes. As a multi-license customer, I'm saddened that there is a visible "It's our way, or the highway" style approach that seems to be increasing these days.
This statement feels like it could be the start of a paradigm shift, and if so, one that I'm concerned is edging gradually towards a pretty slippery slope. I'm concerned that a moment of realisation will inevitably follow such a shift, where more of the latest, long awaited or most requested features could no longer be available to self-hosted clients.
I realise with SAAS you have more or even total overall control of the environment which is good from a support perspective, and it's been stated that if you could have a do-over with today's tech, SAAS would be the way to go from the outset.
SAAS certainly has its benefits, to both sides of the provider/customer fence, don't get me wrong, but I still find the cloud-hosted IPS on offer here (which as your main showcase, it should be super slick, speedier than The Flash using a bathroom and instantly responsive), to be more sluggish and generally slower than many self-hosted sites I come across; even though I'm using a 40Mbps fibre connection (thanks rip off, overselling BT, I'm still paying for that 80Mbps Infinity 2 connection, you know... yeah, that's right, you hear me!).
And then there's this risk, it does happen...

On the way to the point where more features are restricted, how many restricted features will it take before self-hosted clients begin to feel like they are getting the light version or feel less valued. The software is expensive (aside from a couple of the recurring add-ons which a fairly priced), self-hosted clients money is of course just as good as that of SAAS clients, and after all, wasn't it the self-hosted user base that helped get IPS to where it is today? So I would ask IPS to at least consider this approach and also, if you propose removing lesser used large features from products (like Commerce) that's fine but please don't forget to reduce the price accordingly.
    Thanks for listening.
