  1. Beautiful. This will be a very handy feature, well done.
  2. Thanks @Matt Finger 🙌 I've seen some great icon customization add ons, but never have I seen the ability to create your own INSIDE the AdminCP. So that is really convenient and next level. Really looking forward to play with that. 🙂
  3. AGAIN some next level stuff! All these updates so far are all one by one amazing! Meanwhile all updates on a community software I won't disclose, have been nothing BUT disappointing. Love the work you all are putting into this. Great work, as always.
  4. Amazing. Invision keeps on surprising me with every update here. 🙂 Would love to see how this goes into practice on a live community. This approach will undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for community members. A general forum might not find this feature interesting, but more niche forums will. Newcomers will find it easier to identify the trustworthy members. Plus, having notifications for unanswered questions in specific areas of expertise is a fantastic way to encourage active engagement. In my experience, response speed is critical for support-focused communities. But for more general interest communities, it might be the number of helpful votes or the quality of content provided.
  5. It's truly amazing to see how easy the theme editor is. The amount of possibilities are really endless. And that will definitely be fun to see various communities making their own version. Having a 3rd party theme designer create something like this custom for you is worth alone thousands of dollars. This version takes your community to a whole new level. I don't think people can really comprehend how much work goes into this. Brilliant work team, well done. Couldn't be more excited to see more!
  6. Well, I think Joel's remarks are good ones. Especially the new page one. If you think of it, having less replies per page, will increase your pages per topics and that can reflect on your activity. Your topics could seem more active and users could assume that topic has more replies because we all the idea that a topic has 20-25 replies standard.
  7. That seems like a perfect space to place an advertisement and monetize your community. 😉
  8. And at the same time, it gives you the possibilities to explore new applications, new content delivery material when you were not using those applications previously. So if anything, it gives you more freedom to expand your community. 🙂
  9. Brilliant work ! Loving the progress. Can we also round up an applause for the frequently in depth updates Invision is bringing? Something that doesn’t need to go unnoticed. It’s one thing to keep working on v5, but keeping us informed with a top notch video, is equally as important! Well done team!
  10. Which is perfectly normal. Maintaining security and stability in a forum is crucial, and a 24-month renewal policy helps ensure that. So, it encourages users to stay up to date with the latest upgrades and security enhancements, and thus creating a safer and more reliable environment for community members. Also from a business perspective, it also makes sense for Invision Community to implement such a policy. Think platform's sustainability, allowing them to continue providing valuable services and support for us. So, while it might seem strict, it's a necessary step to secure your community and ensure Invision Community's future success.
  11. Would it perhaps be possible to have an Edit button next to Quote? Instead of having it under the 3 dots ?
  12. Definitely. I see a small resemblance to the theme illuminate, always have loved that theme. Keep up the good work all! Can't wait till v5 is completely done. It seems you have been pushing some very innovative changes !
  13. This is remarkable. I love the new content scrolling feature on mobile. I'm this close on dropping XenForo and migrating to Invision Community. 😅 Brilliant work to everyone involved. I love the new sidebar. Very cool to be able to link additional threads, forums or other features that are popular. Also, I didn't know Ehren was part of the IC Team. 😄 Good asset !
  14. I can’t wait to see more! For a minute I was considering to migrate from XF. Who knows. 😏
  15. Hello everyone! I'm closing in on ending the interview questions, so if you have any last questions you'd like to see included, PM me before the end of the month! 😉
  16. We have a bunch of forums listed in our link directory, but I'm not posting a link because it's a different forum software. Similar to WP VORT3X's link directory, but not as many. 😄
  17. Thanks. At this point I wouldn’t expect otherwise. 😄
  18. Beautiful. If only other forum software developers were so innovative... Looking forward seeing more communities entering the Hive. 🙂
  19. It may be worth checking in with Cloudflare and banning traffic from certain countries like Russia, China, etc. Navigate to the Firewall menu and select the "Tools" option. Choose "IP Access Rules" and create a new rule for the country you want to block. Select "Block" as the action and enter the country code or name you wish to block.
  20. Disposable email filtering is great. Nice job on that.
  21. I understand that the shutdown of the Marketplace is a huge shock to everyone, thinking it's the end of the world when it's honestly not. 3rd party developers will still be able to offer their applications, and with the help of @Joel R building a directory, that is bound to be good. Have a little trust everyone. Also worth noting: Other forum software developers don't maintain an official marketplace and don't review codes or anything that is being released. It's entirely on the BUYER's responsibility to check for recommendations, reviews, sales, and reputation of the 3rd party developer. As always, think and do research before you buy and if it's too good to be true then it most likely is.
  22. You will run in the exact same issue with any other platform, I can guarantee you that. Neglecting maintenance is your problem to begin with. What you are doing now is shifting that mistake on Invision Community while it's a 3rd party add on bug. You need to investigate which add on, and contact the respectively author of that application.
  23. Just checked, it will most likely need an uninstall. But that will also delete the application without the ability to extract the files. I would extract them from your file manager.
