Nope, that's not the goal of this resource.
The fast way to do what you want, I believe, is go to Groups page on ACP and click in the padlock in all groups and change there.

ACP > Members > Groups.
Click the Lock icon for each one and remove posting permissions for each forum / section. Faster to do it this way, than per forum.

I have created a ticket on this for you, so we can look into this further. Someone will be in contact as soon as possible

Im on 4.7.2. now... the mark as solution "button" is still normal. Also on the default template

I'm pleased I didn't update again - there's far too many people posting issues for this to be updated until everything is sorted.  My sympathies go out to everyone affected, clients and devs.

Also: All applications where 4.7.1.  I did not get ANY error or Warning BEFORE the upgrade about out-dated versions. 

This just really s*cks. You need to add a warning for PHP7 users. That they NEED to upgrade to software that is PHP 8 ready... just s*cks. 😞

Im running on PHP Version 7.4.29
After the 4.7.2 upgrade i get the message:
 
We are currently in the process of migrating our platform from PHP7 to PHP8 in order to provide you with the greatest level of performance and security. We've identified and disabled one or more Applications or Plugins currently installed on your site which contain PHP8 incompatible code. To re-enable, you will have to upgrade to a PHP8 compatible version. Refer to the AdminCP Support page for more info.
 
The following third party applications were disabled:

True. I started to use 4.7 in Beta 5 because I had to disable a item in the constants.php; bug is still there, btw.

One more thing. A quick shout out to @Adriano Faria who first thing this morning, and I mean first thing, was hammering out update notices on all of his apps. He's the only one that I've seen all day. I hope they all get approved quickly, but kudos for the immediate intervention. I hope that the other devs are also pushing updates, especially on the big apps that so many of us use!

Weird. The app alone has no issues with PHP8. It really shouldn't point an error for a non existing app in your system. 😶

That was exactly my thinking Adriano - we live in weird times with lots of weird things going on, too many for my liking lol.  I'm sure this will get sorted.

What I see here, that clients are outraged by the company's lack of transparency in relation to aggressive blocking of their apps/plugins, they should have had a warning before proceeding with the update, that's what everyone is commenting on.
Many users are dependent on third-party apps to make their community what it is today, and that has become a big issue now.
Honestly, after all these reports, I'm zero excited to update my community now, I'll wait for all this puera to subside.
Good luck to the team in having to deal with this whole complaint, something that could have been avoided.

Transparency never hurts and will certainly avoid posts and messages asking to update.
Currently it shows only to file submitter (and staff).
