Kirill N got a reaction from TomRigg in Redactor jQuery editor instead of CKEditor
Seriously, ckeditor is terrible. Users on my site have no idea how to use the editor because it's so buggy. When they embed a picture, it takes a while for the url to turn into an image and they hit enter multiple times which results in tons of empty lines. Redactor embeds images instantly, it won't even show you the url when you paste it, it's an image right away. Tons of issues with quoting, and so much more. Not to mention all the problems with the editor not loading or taking a while to load... Please just get rid of this editor or at least make a comment on the situation @Lindy

    Please no.
Although it would be nice if the system could replace the link text with the page title.
for example, if I paste http://community.invisionpower.com, the link would be shown as IPS Community Suite - Forums

This was a great feature in 3.x. I remember it was going to be added to 4.0 and it was in the Release Notes but I haven't heard anything about it in months. Is it still coming back?

Kirill N got a reaction from orp in Topic custom fields - possible?
I want to be able to create custom fields for topics, just like records in Record image. For example, I want to have a field called "Source" for users to post a link to where they found the information they are posting. Also it would be cool to be able to upload a Topic image (like Record image) and display them in feeds.
    Is it possible?

Was very surprised to find out that there's no option to share on Tumblr. It may not be as big as Twitter or Facebook, but it certainly is bigger than Digg or Delicious.

When you're editing the appearance of e-mails, you can't preview the template. Can this please be added?

I feel like the way it is now is bad for forum activity. When everything is expanded, I feel like people will simply read all the new content on one page without wanting to read the rest of the responses and contributing to the topic.
For example, imagine there's a topic with a long interesting discussion going on. And the latest response says "You couldn't be more wrong!" In expanded activity stream view, that response is shown without context and doesn't seem interesting so there's a good chance that a user viewing the stream will ignore it and just keep scrolling. In condensed view, that only says "X responded to a topic" the user, wondering what X said, visits the topic, starts reading the earlier posts and now there's a much bigger chance that they engage in the discussion.

I’ll add it to the feature list, though it will take some time to get it released.

It's a little bit different because when you share a link to Twitter and Facebook it becomes the only thing in the post and the center of it (meaning that you can't add a photo or a video if you already added a link). That's why a preview makes sense there. In forum posts, links are only a small part of the post most of the time and a preview could look out of place and be unwanted.
In other words, when you post a link to Facebook, you are asking people to check it out, that's why it's nice to give them a preview. In forum posts, links are used as reference most of the time that's why a preview is unnecessary.

This is because ZeroHour's post has the following code:
<div style="margin-left:1077px;margin-top:56px;"> <div title="Protected by Grammarly"> </div> </div> inserted by the Grammarly plugin. It's happening on my site as well because the plugin is quite popular (2 million users!). I reported that before but IPS said this isn't a bug.

Well the suite isn't supposed to allow modifications to the page layout either. Right now, anyone can vandalize a page with that plugin.
