I'm loving the new Events feature, I"m sure it'll give a boost to my community. Will there be a way to create paid events? Perhaps as an integration with the Commerce app? 

I would rephrase and say how many were ‘begging’ for a calendar update! 😇

What's funny is that I had renamed "Calendar" to "Events" via language strings years ago.  I'm glad IPS has decided to come along for the ride.  🤣

I really wish I could comment and congratulate people when they get awards!

Could you also re-design the gallery app to look modern and in time with this era..
I like that IPS is now focusing on modernising the look and feel of the suite to compete with what's already out there.
Please modernise the gallery app to look clean, professional and trendy with full exif support.

Regarding both an 'all badges' page and, especially, a 'how many {xyz} until the next badge/rank', it's not so much a 'game' issue as it is a motivation issue and don't take it from me, take it from a successful website: TripAdvisor. I'm a Level 6 at TA and, frankly, what got me there was their: "3 more reviews until Level X". They also do this for the 'sub-badges' for instance restaurant or hotel or monument reviews. "Two more restaurant reviews until you become a Gold Reviewer".
Hope this helps to show how a real-world motivational strategy fuels engagement 😇
