I have never been in there before so no I have not modified anything there.
Here is the latest response from Mailchannels... so where and what templates do I need to add a "message ID" to? It seems that the only bounced emails are the ones that a member is "following" a topic? All other emails seem to get processed just fine.

In general, from my research, it is possible for an update to be needed to the used plugin or module responsible for the email delivery. Kindly check with the developer to see if it can be done or if needed -

My forum is getting emails bounced by "Mailchannels" whenever someone is following a topic and I of course get notified by my server host that has occurred. This was happening with 4.7.2.1 and now with 4.7.16
Here is their support response as to why that is happening

Is there any way I can correct this myself? Where would I enter a message ID and what ID number would that be?

I just updated my test forum and my live forum to 4.7.16. The test forum shows no compatibility problems at all but on my live forum it shows one app has a compatibility problem with PHP 8.1 which I am running. both forums are identical so kind of confusing. The app in question is working fine on both forums, so the question is...what happens if I click the "Fix It" button?

Thanks Jim, I changed the cron to the 8.1 on my server. Question both my live and test board have been set forever to...."Run Automatically with Traffic (Default)" in the ACP, is that still OK?

I upgraded my test board from 4.7.1.2 to 4.7.16 and during the night I am getting this fatal error email from my host and I am running PHP 8.1...
Fatal error: The task was called with PHP version 7.3.33 while PHP 8.0.0 is required. in /home/casitafo/public_html/invboard4/applications/core/interface/task/task.php on line 39
So before I upgrade my live board I would like to get this resolved, so can somebody tell me what is going on? I suspect it has something to do with an application and not a plugin but which one?

I have a single member getting the Your account does not require validation Error code: 2S129/4 message and member is going direct to forum not an email link and has been a member since 2014. I have also tried logging in as him and get the same message. Running 4.7.2.1 version and please don't tell me to upgrade to latest version as I am not interested in doing that as I have had no problems with any other member with this issue to date. I can provide member login info to IPS support staff in a PM if needed.

Any idea why a advertiser can not be contacted via email when their email address is a .net ? Throws a "an error has occurred" and no email is sent.

Yes, I saw that but I am not upgrading as I don't like many of the changes past 4.7.2. I have been with IPS since early 2003 and am tired of the constant changes, some good but most not good for my forum with the majority of my members who are older and don't like changes any more than I do. Especially like the upgrade notification that you can't get rid of in the ACP!

You are probably right as I had the upgrade message and closed it them went to edit a template and nothing was there.

Very strange ACP behavior, yesterday nothing was showing except the global template in the editing pane and nothing else under the templates tab or the css tab in the left pane and I tried several times during the day. This morning everything is back all the templates and the css are there to choose from in the left pane, weird.

Just noticed that all the templates and CSS files in the left pane are all missing and just the global template is in the right pane when trying to edit them (Version 4.7.2). Why are they not showing now as I know they were there before because I have modified several of them previously?

Is there a guide on how to set up subscriptions for users? I "sort of" set up one on my test install but when I went to login as a user it said I needed to subscribe but then threw an error for making a payment? Also how do I add users that have already paid a "donation" recently without enabling the subscriptions and blocking their access as once enabled everyone is blocked until they pay? I do see how to add users once the subscriptions are enabled but how to do that before enabling?

I have a plugin that was purchased from the marketplace and the dev will not respond to repeated requests for the file since the marketplace closed. Question...is there a way to download the files from my server (hooka folder, index.hml and settings.php) for the plugin and make it into an xml that will work like the original xml file did?
