The Guy got a reaction from abobader in COVID-19 in forums???
We are prepared for members on Covid 19. We make 6 accounts everytime someone signs up this way their user ID are 6 accounts away from eachother. Social distancing is very important.
In addition to that we added a mask verification system for everytine when you post or reply you must put on your mask so that your webcam can detect your mask. We also added a way so that only 10 participants can be in a single thread at one given time so that it isn't breaking social distancing.
At sign up we have a manager ready to approve or disapproved members, in case any 'Karens' ask for the manager.
So yes we are in full compliance of it.

I don't recommend a company currently in a lawsuit for illegally selling user's data and supporting CPC propaganda by suppressing activists against the inhumane treatment under the current Communist regime.
That being said, Arrowchat is compatible with IPS and just had a major update to its software.

Without boring you with too many details, the largest issue that impacts payment delays is fraud, yes it's a very big item that costs most online company many tens of thousands of dollars each year. While there are preventions companies can use to help mitigate a large portion of fraud, often times they can be set to a manual review so a payment isn't rejected without a human eye on it.  At times these items can take a little while to process.
The best advice I can give you is to be patient, setup a card on file to auto renew, and also ensure you are not using a proxy, have proper billing addresses that match the payment info on file and with your bank.  I'm glad your payment was processed though and welcome back.  🙂

Only way I can think of it affecting forums is if it's warez sites (which shouldnt exist to begin with).
The reason i say that is this... if a site is not VERY popular, it won't be in some package that costs more, anyway. They'd only do that for popular sites. And if a site IS popular, they can afford to keep running the site with less members or the members will feel it's worth paying extra.
I am definitely against it, though. Just saying I don't think it will ruin forum sites. I can definitely picture how greedy companies will screw everyone over, though.
Here is another thought, too, though. I bet it will end up where people who run the popular sites THEMSELVES will gain power. Just like those who own tv channels can keep providers from having access to their channels if they are not paid.

I don't have access to the client forum anymore since license expired a long time ago, so I'm not sure if this has been heavily discussed already, and if it hasn't, than this is a huge deal that effects everybody.

Now as a independent Webmaster of 15 years community making and managing has been a rather great hobby and favorable thing. I'd love for it to continue and enjoy the aspects of having a website. However, bringing myself back has me scared since Net Neutrality is so close to being gone. With the FCC being so locked in this past few years of rolling back the internet to in favor ISPs it will not only harm my access to the Net, but as a Independent webmaster this will pretty much kill it.
The value of websites will have to be extremely valuable for visitors alike to stick around more since they investing more in not just speed, but web packages. Our websites will be apart of one of their packages which is crazy to think about. It's extremely vital to fight for the Net, which again surprised that IPB and it's community hasn't spoke about.
This may sound political, and it is a little to be honest, but it's more then just poltical though, it's the future for all of our websites.
For those that are not US, it also effects you as well in some cases.
I would love to renew and start a planned community, but a little iffy of the future that unfolds before us. Of course,
I'm not saying abandon your site and give up hope, that's not what I am saying. You just need to prepare for the worst. If the FCC does cut out Net Neutraily this month, it will be another "work load" for the admins upkeep on their website.

Net neutrality is SUPER important. I think it’s not raising a lot of attention at this point for two reasons
    - a lot of people don’t understand what it is or what the pending changes mean for them
    - we take it for granted (for now)

I know I can say this, after being with forum software's since 2003, its been a striving industry. From a small town community to a large company, in the end, a forum is a engaging community. You just got to remind the visitors that it's more then just a forum, its a support group for whatever your content is aimed at.
