  1. Hi Terry, trying to get in touch with you, sir.

    Deleted Member?

Support replied, telling me it isn't possible. It was possible before (earlier versions of the software), by executing queries after creating a duplicate account of the deleted user. If this is no longer possible with v4, it seems IPS is going backward, not forward. So, I'm not 100% sure I buy their reply.

Was in hopes someone who had done this before, could help. But, I have submitted a support ticket.

I found one article regarding it. But, I'm quite sure it was for older / former versions of IPB. http://www.invisionize.eu/Invision-Resources-Articles/0530-Tips-and-Tricks-gt-Rebuilding-a-deleted-user-account-if-posts-are-intact-using-phpMyAdmin.html Hopefully someone will chime in here soon, who may know more about this than we do. Thanks for the reply.

Anyone, help? I don't want to have to use a backup that is a week old, if at all possible.

Hi, Yeah, I believe you can create a new member, then go into phpMyAdmin and execute some queries. Or, at least I believe you can. Trouble is, I don't know what specific queries to execute, IF it can be done that way. Oh, this wasn't intentional. If it were, I wouldn't be asking here now.
  7. Is there a way to recreate a member that was mistakenly deleted, and attach that account back to all of the posts made by said member?

Or, perhaps, as a member who uses Micheal's mods, you should offer genuine input, and helpful advice and information, rather than telling the coder (the person who is helping the membership by providing mods such as this one, that allow our sites to accept payments, and move members into appropriate user groups quite easily) that he should be using his own mods? You always have the option of simply adding payment buttons on your site, and moving your members into a sponsor user group manually, rather than having his mod do it for you automatically, making your life easier. I still can't believe a member made such a thoughtless statement to a coder. I mean, should a coder actually have to use every one of his or her mods? Do you realize how ludicrous your suggestion is? Do you realize how many modifications this would include? These people are doing this to help us, and to help benefit our forums. It is us who should be offering the feedback the coders need, so they can alter, change, and add options that we request / suggest, that we need, that we should be thankful for in the first place. You should be ashamed of yourself for making such statements to him. Michael, please know there are members here who appreciate the efforts of coders, and the work you good people put into the modifications. Damn it. I just realized I didn't make donations for some mods I recently requested. Bad IPS member. Bad IPS member. I will sort that out today. Alter ego: IPS_fan

Thanks, Michael. Terabyte, is it possible to sort this, please? I like the hook very well and want to continue using it.
  10. Hi, I have been using your mod for about a week or so, now. So far, I think everything functions okay, with the exception of forcing the view. Even though I have that set on each block, the viewer can still collapse the blocks. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, if it is a bug, or if it is (quite often) something I screwed up? Board v3.1.1 Mod: v2.1.0
