I posted a fix for this error in this post:

Line 265 of your conf_global.php file was corrupted with some non-ASCII characters at the word 'true'.
    $INFO['sql_utf8mb4']             =     ÔtrueÕ;
That line is added as part of the utf8mb4 data conversion. If you've actually completed that step, the line is needed.
Just remove those two Ô characters from the line.

As mentioned above, this can be done.
ACP -> Members page, upper right.

On the next page will be filters you can choose to e.g. select ranges by date.

You don't need an sql query, there's a tool on the members page in the acp to do it.

Upgrading from that long release, you will likely need to do a manual upgrade anyway because 4.5 is not compatible with PHP 8 and 4.7 is not compatible with PHP 7.4 so you're in a bit of a pickle.
    What I would recommend
Turn your site offline. Do a complete backup, files and database. Contact your host to ensure it's there and up to date when you turned your community offline so you don't lose any data/posts/etc... Not to be rude to hosting providers but seen a few clients get hosed so relying on your host sometimes can get you into trouble.  Disable all third party applications and plugins. Switch to an unmodified theme. Download files from the Client Area (don't upload yet). Switch to PHP 8, check to ensure you have all modules enabled: https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7046-invision-community-requirements-checker/ The files you downloaded from the Client Area, extract those to your computer and upload the contents of the "ips_***" folder to your server, overwriting what is there. Go to [your community's base url]/admin/upgrade . Run the upgrader. Upgrade your third party applications, plugins, themes to be compatible with the Invision Community and PHP versions. Investigate these to ensure they are compatible with PHP 8 before you enable any.  Check everything and open the community back up 🙂 .

Honestly that broken app is not worth the trouble nowadays, and their support being crap doesn't help either. It had a place before when the forum's theme was not responsive / good enough for mobile, but with the newer versions the situation has changed drastically.
Most of the sites I've updated in the last couple of years decided to drop it, especially after they started forcing forum owners to pay to upload the files to their own servers instead of tapatalk's cdn.

My opinion is that you shouldn't install it, no matter what your users say. Try mentioning instead that using Tapatalk makes them lose a lot of functionality compared to using the site in a normal browser. This is especially true if you have modifications installed on your forum, those will never work on Tapatalk.

In that case, we'd suggest you contact the author of that 3rd-party app for assistance in diagnosing this issue.

That's the same issue, which is not yet fixed.
As my colleague noted, this will be addressed in a future release (most likely the next one).

Signature restrictions are set on a per-Group basis.
ACP -> Members -> Groups -> edit the group -> Group Settings sub-tab -> Signatures subsection.

By the way...  there's a handy guide to getting started creating your first forums/categories in case you find it helpful.

Just a note for the time being...
One thing self-hosted folks can do is to block the IP range of the spammer(s) using 109.107.166.230, but that needs to be done in the server firewall.
This would be the range to block for that service provider, in CIDR format:
    109.107.160.0/19
    which blocks 109.107.160.0 through 109.107.191.255
And for that spammer in Iraq... that provider has a huge range of IP's, from 37.236.0.0 to 37.239.255.255 so I personally blocked a fairly small range for them which encompasses the one IP that spammer used:
    37.239.8.1/24
(Note: I've added these on my own server already, and it appears I got to it before my sites were hit.)
More blocks can be added as you notice them, but try to keep the ranges small. Blocking a too-large range can cause server issues under the right (wrong?) circumstances.

    Step 1 - create a group
Step 2 - give that group moderator permissions
    Have you now done both?

I believe the above topic is relevant. It's an issue between your server and indexnow. This is something your Host would need to investigate as a first step.

Are those the only tables which start with "ibf_nexus_" ?
Also, using phpMyAdmin, please check the ibf_core_applications table.
Is there a record in it, with the app_title of "Nexus" ?

Just a followup to what my colleague mentioned with some extra info... the error "Not Acceptable" is most often tied to the use of Mod Security on your server.
Your host would need to confirm whether you are using it, but if you are using Mod Security, then it is likely the cause of that error, and they need to examine the logs to see what rule was being triggered during file extraction, then "whitelist" that rule for your account.

Assuming you have access to the database with phpMyAdmin or similar, check the list of tables in your database.
Are there any tables whose name starts with (assuming no table prefix is used), "nexus_" ?
If there are such tables, then nexus was either installed, or was attempted to be installed, at one point in the past, but then not removed properly.
