  1. This is weird

I have upgraded to the 2000 shots.

If I try to store images locally I get the unsupported image displayed for existing links even after going in via ftp - removing the existing image and doing the refresh thumbnail option.

I have also purged our cloudflare cache and ran the IPS support tool

    https://www.walkingfootball.com/links/link/52-fleetwood-town-flyers/

If I choose not to store images locally the correct website thumbnail is displayed for existing links.

If I choose to create a brand new link, it appears to work ok with the store locally option

    https://www.walkingfootball.com/links/link/55-derbyshire-walking-football-league-65s-division/

I can't delete everyones links and recreate them as it will zero all of their link stats

    Totally lost now

I use the Screenshot Machine option, and got the Pay as You Go "pack" for €20 which gives you 2000 screenshots, which I've found to be more than enough for me. I store them locally. Once in a while, not often, it doesn't (can't) grab the screenshot, so I upload my own.

Is that per month or a one off payment?

We would have less far less than 2000 links now and in future so this could be an option

You don’t want to pay for a paid service, which will probably deliver a better service. I wouldn’t expect a free service to be bulletproof all of the time.

We did try to signup for the thumbshots plan but they have a problem with the payment form working and the last time they pulished an article on their site was back in 2010 so not sure how reliable they will be,

The other two are really expensive and work out about £200 a year for their cheapest plans which is out of our budget really for this.

Can you give us any pointers on where to edit the templates as we are not terrible technical when it comes to doing that?

    Thanks

  4. tried and it doesnt accept either  --1 and - - 1 which I thought should be correct

But just tried -1 and it's worked. But I would have thought 0 -1 should have resulted in -1

Anyways table looks correct now, thanks

I guess the only thing then that is missing is if we do a manual adjustment, be able to asterisk it *

and have a field at the bottom of the table where we can add a line of text explaining what the adjustment is?

What should I add and where?

We just need to be able to add or subtract points somehow.

So if a club get fined -3 points we can subtract 3 points from their total

Likewise if a club are awarded a point or more we need to be able to increase their points total with what has been awarded

That column you showed appears to be able to let you subtract points, but it does not allow you to increment the points total.

  6. Hi,

We are not using manually updated tables, we are using tables updated by fixtures

currently the team in question are showing 0 points because they lost - however for some reason they were awared a point so we need to reflect that somehow

  7. Is that members on my site clicking the link to record the hit?

If so I meant I wondered if it would be possible to rank the sites based on hits from the external website > in to my site

So the people sending me the most traffic ranked highest in the list making it an incentive for them to send traffic to my site

    Can you elaborate?

Like a toplist - so if a site sends the most visitors to my site, they would appear at the top of the links list

the site that sent in the next most visitors would appear in position 2 etc etc
