Thank you. I have identified a situation where this can happen. You board is fixed:

The fix isn't retroactive as post content is text. I have edited the dates in this giveaway and run it again.
    Will update the marketplace file.
    Tks.

Welcome to this week's Invision Insight!
How's everyone liking the new look to Gallery?! We want to hear all of your feedback, so please visit this topic and take advantage of the testing phase so we can keep it all centralised for easy reference.
On other news, Live Topics is almost ready for its beta release! In December last year we mentioned this new feature coming to the suite and it is definitely something many communities will benefit from. I promise we will provide more details soon!

    New Version
We have released a new beta version of Invision Community, 4.7.7 Beta 4.
For those that would like to try the beta on their communities, please follow the link below. Last week I wrote about how you can opt-in to beta releases for both Cloud and self-hosted clients.
As always, please back up your communities before upgrading to any beta releases.

    GraphQL
    The GraphQL API is here!
GraphQL describes itself as a query language for APIs that gives clients the power to ask for precisely what is needed and nothing more.
I won't go into too much detail here of course; but @Daniel F has got you covered and went into great detail to explain this new addition to Invision Community.

    Recent Event
Our February 2023 Release Chat happened this week, but if you missed it, don't stress as you can watch the recording below. Please post your questions and we'll do our best to answer them.

ADKGamers got a reaction from Notplus in Down After Upgrade - Appears to be login handler
I just did a manual upgrade to 4.6 and no errors as I went through the process until it said it was completed successfully.
This is showing on the Homepage
Error: Call to undefined method IPS\Login\Steam::forcePasswordResetUrl() (0) #0 /home/xxxxxx/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(110): IPS\Dispatcher\_Front->init() #1 /home/xxxxxx/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher::i() #2 {main} It appears that it's the Steam Login that I forgot to disable (as I forgot about the login handlers) before upgrade is causing the issues, so I went into the database and to the login handler row and disabled the steam login there, but still the same issues are occurring.

When I'm in the dashboard, it just shows the error EX0 and nothing else so I'm not able to access support from there.

Not sure where to go from here, but any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

This has been mentioned here by us, but we’re going to send messages to everyone who hasn’t downloaded the new version yet.

    I’ve sent you a PM.
Just wanted to reveal that rate limits are going to be almost non-existent after the next update, which will significantly reduce number of requests to Discord with a reinvented synchronization process.

That guy is not an official spokesperson for webkit or apple, however.
Apple's dev Maciej Stachowiak (who is one of the lead PWA devs from the looks of it) and Webkit's engineer Chris Dumez have both confirmed on twitter to use the webkit bugzilla for providing the use case feedback on the request. Providing through official apple feedback channels is obviously a good idea too, but feedback of any sort is the key here.

@Ron_ just read your review and this is a core feature. The app you install will always appears in first place on menu. You can simply move it to the position you want. 👍
Btw, this isn’t my file. Just telling you something that you might not know.

Awesome thank you. Will there be a possible future update to disable name syncing on a per group basis? I want the people that support the site (my subscribers) to have the ability to have custom names.

Just a few points from me...
    1) In my POV it is far better for you to create individual topics for individual requests. It is rare that we spend time reviewing large "how about all of these things" topics because frankly it's difficult and time consuming. We can and do, however, flag individual requests for follow up on our side quite often.
    2) We absolutely DO base our changes off of requests clients have made. They may not be requests YOU have made, but why would we (as a business) spend time implementing things no one wants? That's just illogical. It's important to remember that we get feedback from many different sources (this forum being but one of them) and you may simply not be aware of common things we hear about from other avenues.
    3) We'll be sticking with PHP for 5.0.

    1. I applaud you for starting an IPS 5.0 feedback topic before me.  Props to you.
    2. Customizable homepage - no.  I want to control the display and presentation (and I will admit, the ad placement because I'm a greedy admin farming my user's data.  Take that GDPR!).
-- 2a. I'm okay with personalizing the content on the page. For eaxmple, pushing content from followers or prioritizing popular content for more interesting and relevant content.  But not the overall layout.
-- 2b.  If this were Blogs or Profiles that are tied to the user, I could understand.  Those are "individual spaces"in the where it makes sense to give more design control.  But again, not the homepage which is a community homepage.
4.4. See how I skipped to this number.  IPS is taking it's sweet time.

In my opinion, to do a PWA well, you need to do more than just take a responsive theme and add a manifest. PWAs are expected to feel like native apps, and so we'd have quite a bit of work to do to meet that standard I think.
We aren't ignoring mobile though, don't worry ?

Neither. There's no light / full version of this app.
The actions are going to be handled by a separate app.
This one is only the login handler.

First version is going to provide only oauth login (and it's going to be sold for only 10$ early adopter price)  so that people can finally use this feature again. And then we'll include the bot features which we're already working on in an later release once we tested everything and once we finished the GUI for this stuff.

All I can say is: No matter if you want to see new content, new registrations, commerce data, downloads submissions, application form data, trophy promotions, IPS errors in discord, you'll be able to do it;)

ADKGamers reacted to Lindy in Close / Deactivate Account Automatically
Account deactivation will be coming very shortly, but this is not to be confused with account deletion. There are no immediate plans for an automated deletion system for various reasons outlined in other topics. It's worth noting that the GDPR provides for lawful bases of collection and processing of information. If money has been exchanged, for example, they cannot demand you delete their account and existence provided you have a purpose for retaining it and in the US, we are obligated to maintain financial and legal records. You must, however, outline a retention policy (ours will be forthcoming.) In terms of content, unless a post or other content item contains personally identifiable information such as a physical address, you do NOT have to delete a member's content - it belongs to the community, not the member (and that should be clear in your policy.)
So, the impending account deactivation will disable the profile and effectively archive the account. There will be no way to contact the member, even with an admin override (and no such modifications will be allowed in the marketplace) through the software and they will receive no further communication from the site. This will satisfy requests in which the user wants to leave but cannot be forgotten.
Right to erasure requests for which there's no legal basis for processing (communities where there's no contractual premise) an do require deletion would still need to be processed manually by the admin. Again, there's too much to consider there - hacked accounts, validation, purchase records, etc. for us to comfortably automate without a fairly significant amount of development time, testing and resources and our efforts are better focused on keeping people on your community, not spending weeks developing functionality to allow them to delete themselves with the click of a button.
We'll have more info on GDPR as it relates to IPS and account deactivation soon. Thanks for your patience.

Would love to have a core deactivation option, I know there's some out there to allow deletion and then the $95 one which does appear to be a good option it's just not something I can shell out at this time. And your other topic Madman still shows internal review and engineering so not sure if that means coming soon or not = X
