  2. Couldn't agree more. The new IP.Content is a lot more user friendly, and we have seen a ton of great features turn up in IP.Board 3.3.0. It's almost to the point where I can't suggest anything more. Can't wait to see what the rest of the IPS applications have to offer, if anything.
  3. So many problems would be solved if people knew how to read directions...
  4. Then they could add a separate file clearly marking the fact that it is only for upgrading?
  5. Well, a lot of us customers already have boards, and want to be able to just simply upload the new files for things such as Beta 1 to Beta 2. It seems pointless to reupload every single file, when it really isn't neccesary. I was thinking that there could be two folders in the download, one for first time installing, and one for upgrading so those of us who already have a board and just want to upgrade. The first time upload folder would have everything, and the Upgrade folder would just have the specific files that were updated. It would make upgrading a lot faster, and take out the hassle of replacing every file and waiting for that to be done. Post your thoughts on this, as I would think many would agree with me.
  6. I sent you the domain info for ipbforumskins.net

  7. I should have explored the settings a little more, didn't know that :)
  8. Bug So you can control what groups have access to change their username color. Yes. But if a member in an allowed usergroup is deranked, they will have the same username color. Also, moderators/admins should be able to control the members user color, as in change it if not my suggestion in the above posts.
  9. Well if you could integrate your hook with SOS32 Recent Topics that would be awesome.
  10. My issue has been fixed, it was just a cache issue when I first added it. The colors I think, and I have shown others your hook and they agree (if only they would speak), a hex chart has some flaws, but bonuses as well. The only reason as I said is blending with skin colors to camouflage the user's name. I would be willing to donate for the one (Recent Topics) for to be integrated with your hook :P
  11. Bug: The custom username doesn't apply to authors in forum category view. You can see the Gold name is the style that belongs to the group, and the blue on the right is his custom name style. Suggestion: I think there should be certain colors that you should be able to disable, due to blending in to the skin. Most vaguely black and white. This way, you won't have members blending names with the skin. Basically a control to what colors can and cannot be used, so make a hex chart wasn't the best idea. Another suggestion towards what I said is for certain premade colors to be options in the settings, and for administrators to have to enable or add colors via options or add their own with the hex chart you provided in the site, except in the ACP with the color's hex. As you can see the name is white, and blends in with the site. I have highlighted it to show the name. Request/Suggestion: Make Custom Name Style work with (SOS32) Recent Topics. The member group color is used here regardless if they have a custom name style or not.

  13. Is it possible to minimize the shoutbox my default on the index page? So that it was still there, but wouldn't be taking up as much space. So if someone wanted to use it, they just maximize it? So it would look like this by default. If so, please help me :) I'm running on the latest version ;)
