Since 1.0.12 (which has been released today), Instant Notifications are no longer sent before a member finishes registration after posting with Post Before Register 🙂
If you don’t want to send notifications about content from specific categories, you’ll just need to add every other category to notification conditions.

I suppose that 1.0.12 will resolve your issues. Or, you can try changing types of your notification from Instant to Late.

Would you be able to put a demo for this plugin up?

Hey, I'm having an issue with this plugin. If I select "Create New Album", then after I create the record instead of prompting me to create the album, I get led to a page with this error:
The URL seems to be correct, [board URL]/gallery/submit/?do=submit&category=6&album=1285&_new=1
Any ideas?
Edit: I've found another bug. If you select "Create New Album", but then fail to select a gallery category, the record will be created with a null album linked. Is there any possibility of fixing these bugs?

I hadn't saw that you had edited your post before I have written a reply for it - nickname synchronization can be disabled now, but unfortunately to prevent invalid application's behavior, bot needs the "Kick members" permission, because there is no option yet to disable kicking members after they unlink their Discord account with IPS account and after you delete their IPS account.

Is there a way to stop the Discord bot from changing people's nicknames? Some people have reported that after I installed Brilliant Discord, if they were to link their forum account, then the Discord bot would change their nickname on Discord. I'd rather that this didn't happen.

I can commit to support for custom category urls. I've added it recently elsewhere and it shouldn't be an issue. It might be something I can include in a bug fixing update but at the very least in the next feature update.
Support for custom video urls and including parent categories in the urls would probably be something further down the line if you wanted to wait for me to include it as part of a future update. Custom video urls shouldn't be a problem but including parent categories in the urls would require a bit of thinking to ensure legacy support.

I plan on adding media tag support after bug fixing rounds are finished. Like how IPB 3.4 allowed the twitch media tag.
