We're using a page (via IPS Pages app) as our new front page for our website. The site includes an IPS area and a database that has been coded by another developer.

However, the search bar on the IPS page that we're using as a front page is defaulting to "Pages". I need it to default to "Everywhere". How do I change that setting, please?

  2. I saw exactly the same behavior in another invison community.

I believe the actions you took are not enough, You'll almost get hacked again.

As a temp. action, the webmaster added a rule to the htaccess file to prevent the hacker from writing to the index.php files.

Although we didn't find out the root cause, but this action stopped the hacker from messing around.

I also belive there's back door, maybe from another software installed on the sever.

May I ask you some questions? Do you have WordPress installed on the same website? Do you mind sharing a list of apps or plugins you have for your invision community?

  3. A PHP white (blank) page means that there are some errors in your PHP code or configuration, but they are not displayed in the browser. This can result in a blank screen or an HTTP 500 error. Such php errors are not logged in IPS system logs.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can check the error_log file in your website’s document root or logs folder. You can also enable error reporting in your PHP.ini file.

If you are not sure how to do so, it's better to ask your hosting provider to take the action.

  4. Not a big deal but I thought I should share these issues with default IPS theme in RTL mode.

I'm not sure when these issues started to happen *Starting from which IPS version*, But I can see it now with 4.7.10

Is there a way to specify specific hostnames that will be converted to an external rich embed?  If not, is there a way to have this done on a custom basis?

Currently, there is a setting to exclude hostnames, to do the opposite, this will require plugin setting update.
