  1. I see the potential to use Clubs in more ways than just as community enhancements so I wonder if you have considered allowing multiple versions of it being installed in one license? For example I might want to use clubs for listing software or services, but I also want a community enhancement as the default clubs. This is currently not possible and I would have to create a database with tabs that bring in forums for the default forum rather than isolated forums as I can in clubs? I think this can be useful for other applications as well, but clubs is what I would love to see right now 🙂
  2. I think what is missing are containers. In theory all you need is a few full width widget areas and then a system of containers and modules (blocks). This way I can add a container that have a 70/30 split in the columns to get content and sidebar. I can add a 3 column block inside the content container and then a 2+1 column block inside one of the 3 column containers...and so on. Right now you only have blocks so you have to hardcode the content, while a container + modules system would basically give you total freedom to create and use the pages widget system any way you can imagine. Basically a container would be kind of like a modular way to register new widget areas with predefined conditions (columns/rows) Does that make sense?
  3. Happy to help 🙂 I am sorry for missing he closing bracket, I was pasting from a larger CSS and got sloppy 🙂
  4. You can be a bit creative using CSS 🙂 Mine is set to 55% and I have changed the CSS slightly: .SG_record_image { background-size: contain !important; background-position: top center !important; background-repeat: no-repeat; padding-top: 0px !important; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .SG_record_image { padding-bottom: 70% !important; } This way I can override the way the image is shown in mobile. You can see it in effect here: https://jimiwikman.se/blog-articles/blog/interesting/atlassian/atlassian-provide-free-licenses-to-help-teams-with-remote-work-r126/
  5. Very nice homepage Davyc 🙂 On my website I have a more traditional setup, but I also have dedicated sections where I pull in data related to that section: https://jimiwikman.se/ A Section: https://jimiwikman.se/design/ The concept of having a dashboard like overview is not a bad idea, but it would require a custom plugin I think as you probably want the users to define what is important to them...
  6. It sounds like you want something like a dashboard for your users? It's an interesting concept and not hard to do if you know what data you want to display and know how to make the widgets. It would be like a member page where you see things like: Notifications Private Messages Unread content Members I follow Bookmarked Content (if you have some form of bookmarks or lists plugin) Important Notices (perhaps from a dedicated forum or blog?) Support tickets My Orders ...whatever else is relevant for your site This would show up after you login and then you can have it in the member droplist as a "My Dashboard"? Is that how you see it?
  7. Never mind, got it solved thanks to the amazing support team. Thanks guys, you are awesome!
  8. I have an AWS background process going crazy costing me hundreds of dollars because it is stuck trying to move files. Anyone have ideas how to stop that?
  9. Can I use this plugin for Pages as well? I am considering creating some blocks related to certain categories for example?
  10. @Duken you can use Pages Category Images plugin which is supported by pages supergrid.
  11. For pages is it for all databases or can you select one?
  12. Option 1 would be more than sufficient I think. It would probably also be good to have a ACP setting for the databases that define what databases can be added to clubs as well as we most certainly do not want all to be available. For the editor though it would be nice if we could assign it to a page rather than a template, but that is a completely different topic 🙂
  13. Any thoughts on adding a value based quiz, like a personality type of quiz (what type of designer are you...or something)? Like the ones on https://www.quizony.com/ for example?
  14. @opentype I am going to make a different design for the listing for one database where I want a timeline instead. Is it better to add an "if database x" query in the template or is it better to duplicate the templates so I have two different templates?
  15. Things seem to be working, except for Member Rewards that give errors: Error: Class 'IPS\Helpers\Form\NumberRange' not found (0) #0 /home/shadowne/public_html/system/Node/Controller.php(467): IPS\donate\_Reward->form(Object(IPS\Helpers\Form)) #1 /home/shadowne/public_html/system/Node/Controller.php(366): IPS\Node\_Controller->_addEditForm(Object(IPS\donate\Reward)) #2 /home/shadowne/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(85): IPS\Node\_Controller->form() #3 /home/shadowne/public_html/system/Node/Controller.php(62): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #4 /home/shadowne/public_html/applications/donate/modules/admin/setup/rewards.php(35): IPS\Node\_Controller->execute() #5 /home/shadowne/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(146): IPS\donate\modules\admin\setup\_rewards->execute() #6 /home/shadowne/public_html/admin/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #7 {main} Suggestions?
  16. I am having some problem getting the navigation working: http://shiroiokami.com/ Perhaps I am doing it wrong?
  17. Have you by any chance upgraded this to work for 3.x as well?
  18. File Name: KnightFighters File Submitter: Jimi Wikman File Submitted: 28 Nov 2007 File Category: Dark Skins A Skin based on the popular Knight Fight game that has been custom built for the KnightFighters guild. This skin comes with google adsense by default and you can remove them or replace them by editing the wrapper. It also comes with 2 macros for updating the guildsize at the top if you wish to use that feature. This skin has a disclaimer that must remain at all times. Click here to download this file
  19. - It should be possible to choose your profile picture size through the ACP (assuming that FBC pull in the image and then IPB resize based on input in the ACP). - You can make a query and see who has the FBC information present in their tables. If they don't have it present they have not connected through FBC. - You can do that fairly easy depending on how IPB has set that up. - I am sure notifications will show up soon enough :) Some features I would like to see is integrating the invite system so you can invite your friends to join you on the forum and a friendslist that show you which friends come from FB. I would love the possibility to replace the commentbox on members profile with a FBC commentbox (each member would need a developer account setup though) to allow full interaction between FB and the board when someone makes a comment.
  20. I am sure we will even see topics about not supporting IE8, but probably not in the same context :) IE7 will probably be less of a problem than IE6 as people will most likely upgrade to IE8 rather than IE7 when they finally give up IE6. If your member has a computer that can not use IE6, then I think he has far worse problems than your site not showing up properly...he is using a calculator ;) If its a financial issue that prevent him from getting a computer on this side of the 21st century he has my sympathies otherwise I would strongly suggest that he get a computer that has a little more power to it...IE6 has a minimum requirement of 16-32MB RAM for crying out loud and even with a 486/66Mhz with windows 98 you could get it working: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/evaluation/sysreqs/default.mspx Are you sure that he really has a computer that is more than 15 years old or is he just not that technical about it? The thought of sitting in front of anything less capable than a 486/66mhz and less than 16mb ram makes me shudder...it would take ages to do anything!
  21. In Norway the website Finn.no started a small revolution against IE6 that has catched on here in the cold north by several companies adding notices to IE6 users that their browser is old and unsecure. It even got the approval from Microsoft that support getting rid of the pesky browser from hell. Besides the obvious problems with security in a decade old browser it is also limiting and causing harm to the overall use of the internet because so many still use it and we bend over backwards to please the morons and ignorent bastards that still use it. By doing this we, the designers, shoot ourselves in the foot. IE6 should have been long gone had we not been such chickens about loosing income and its more then high time to let go of that ugly beast. If you are worried about loosing customers have them upgrade to a more secure browser before they can enter the website...you would be doing them, youself and the rest of the world a favor or we will still build backwards websites in another decade because some people are more conscerned about money than accessibility and security. Grow some balls, or ovaries depending on your gender and do what needs to be done. http://www.google.se/search?hl=sv&safe=off&q=ie6+security+issues&btnG=S%C3%B6k&meta=
  22. A Facebook Connect feature could also tie into the members profiles and friendslists directly... I for one is willing to pay for such a modification...
