  1. [EN34] Ajax Thanks

It works fine for me and I'm using Cloudflare. Have you tested it in Development Mode? I'm on a free plan so I don't use Railgun, Mirage nor Rocket Loader for that matter (as it always causes problems). I don't use the new Argo either.

I first installed Blab! and while the support was great and I was happy with it, many users saw it as something from decades ago. So, I went with Arrowchat which has the same look everything has today, but that aside, also hoping that the push server would be a big bonus. To be honest I don't know if it makes a difference at all. At peak time it becomes a bit of a burden. With IP.Chat at least whoever was in chat at peak time didn't have to suffer the sluggishness of the forum, they really were on a different server, but the AC push server doesn't seem to work in the same way.

It would be great if someone did. Or at least find a way to transform all thanks into IPS native Likes/Thanks.

Thank you very much, fantastic effort. I guess that's a big point for Blab! I reckon I'll go with it to start with and only if I see any system's struggles I'll change to Arrowchat or something else. I'm yet to upgrade to IPS 4, so the day that happens I may look into other alternatives too. Thanks again, much appreciated.

Hmm, in second thoughts I wonder if the result would be the same by disallowing groups. Basically many members on my site have a primary and secondary group. So, imagine I'd like to create a room for users who share a secondary group only. If so, I'll have to disallow the primary groups and maybe this prevents a user from accessing even if he/she has the right secondary group.

Okay, I see. Thank you very much for your help, much appreciated.

Great, and if you don't mind checking if it's possible with AC that would be fantastic.

Cool, it's so I can create a room for particular usergroups.

Thanks it's just one thing that may make me go for Arrowchat. I hope you don't mind another question since you use both Blab! and Arrowchat. I have seen their demos but obviously those are not integrated with IPS. Both are meant to recognise the user groups when integrated. Do you know if they recognise secondary groups among the whole lot of them?

@TheSonic do you know if Blab! has any way of indicating how many people are in chat before actually accessing it? If not, do your users miss such an indication? As it is until now with IP.Chat on my site, they do see a number on the Chat link itself, and who's in chat at the bottom of the forum index.

Versions Plus and Pro of Blab! have come back and I think a bit revamped too. Now I'm leaning towards Blab! Pro (I'm still using IPS 3.4), and debating between that and Arrowchat. I like the "invisible" feature of Blab!. Does anyone know if Arrawchat has that (somehow I think it doesn't).
  12. Any IPS 4.1 high-load community examples?

    I'm running 3.4.5 and MYSQL 5.6.35.
  13. The chat room key has expired.

It generally happens on weekends too.
  14. Sorry not a WP plugin but a Joomla component that would be nice to have as an IPS application is Joocial.
  15. Overlooked feature: Albums Only

I hope so. I'd be using that hook/plugin. It's messy just to let people upload photos without albums.
