I’m not the original poster however, I believe the user is asking for staff to have an option to go incognito when viewing user profiles as it shows them “investigating” a user.

Simply viewing a profile does not record the IP address. Only performing an action does.

Yes, but iOS 13 is ~3 years old so we shouldn't abandon it so soon.

It's not necessarily iOS itself but the device it's on.

In this case, in order to use the operator Matt mentions, you need to be running iOS / iPadOS 13.4 - which is supported by (I think - a quick Google search didn't make it abundantly clear) iPhone 6S (released September 2015) and higher, and iPad Air 2 (released October 2014) and higher.

Any devices older than those may not work as we begin migrating to newer technologies because they can no longer be updated beyond the last version that they supported.

  3. This is due to the way the system is built to allow multiple types of content (such as blog entries and forum topics) in one feed while also having high performance / low server impact generating the feed. It uses the search index which automatically strips all formatting (except for paragraphs - those are converted to plaintext line breaks).

So, not really as intended, but a limitation of the way the search index is currently structured with not having the fully formatted version of the content.

I’ve tried the Twitter PWA and it has the same problem. So, probably nothing you can do to set the app title. Maybe check the manifest schema that iOS currently supports and if there is no manifest setting for this string, wait until Apple addresses this issue.

Yes, I've just checked with other PWA's as well, and they also have the same issue, so this is a problem in iOS itself. The manifest only has two properties to define the name of the PWA (short_name for locations with limited space and name for anywhere else), and both are set.

How long does the PWA keep me signed in?

    Same as desktop.

Also, can you support sign in by Face/Touch Id?

if you store your email and password in Keychain, it will use auto fill when you use FaceID. If using TouchID, it also auto submits (at least, on Mac it does).

Explicit sign in via those is not currently supported. I’m not sure that’s actually available to PWA’s, though I haven’t researched.

And, will Badge show on the HomeScreen icon to indicate the number of unread notifications or even just unread PMs?

Yes. - Sorry, I misunderstood this question - this is not supported yet.

  6. As an aside - I was able to successfully import that webcal feed. The events inside it are in the past, however, so they may not show up immediately unless you go back and find them.

As Jim says, if that webcal export itself adds a new event, then the software should import it the next time it checks the feed at that URL. If the export itself is not updated, or a different URL is generated when a new export happens, then it will not be automatically added to the community, and would need to be added manually.

  7. If you can update your Admin CP details in your client area, I can check this for you. However, a 403 typically means that your host has Mod Security or some other firewall / security software in place that is blocking the request.

I would recommend contacting your host to see if this is the case and, if so, change the configuration to allow the request to go through properly.

Letters stopped coming when complaining about the post.

    I'm subscribed to them.

The rest of the emails from the forum are coming.

I didn't change the settings. This seems to have happened after upgrading to 4.7.6(5).

    What could be the problem?

This is a bug that was fixed in 4.7.6. I would recommend upgrading to the latest version.

    Reported posts, you mean?

I also have not been receiving emails about reported content, despite having previously. Perhaps a bug? I only recently realized this, but it has been ongoing for many many weeks.

I'm not able to reproduce on the latest version. Are you still seeing this?

  9. Admin CP > Members. Click the Cog icon on the search bar. You can use this to search for members based on certain criteria. In this case, you would enter the information like so (note that only the second date field for Last activity is changed):

Could contain: Page, Text, Computer Hardware, Electronics, Hardware, Monitor, Screen

After you submit your search, there will be a bar at the top that will allow you to prune / delete all members found, or move them to a different group.

Before performing any mass alteration on your site, please always ensure you take a backup just in case your search is too broad and accidentally prunes accounts that you did not want removed.
