It does. :) System Settings > Forums > Topics, Posts and Polls > Auto remove redirect links (days)

Or we could just create a multi-mod that marks it as [Solved] and/or puts it in an Archived subforum. Not really necessary for a new feature when multi-mod provides a solution. Personally, I tag fixed issues so others can easily search them.

If polls are not properly set up, the topic is posted normally, but without the poll. This can be frustrating to users that are not familiar with forum software who may not understand why their poll wasn't created. Please make incorrect poll options (like, no choices given for the question, question deleted, etc) give error messages when the post new topic button is pressed
