  1. Hi there, I'm having trouble with the plugin. Since recently I haven't been able to create Club Forum Topics anymore. It's throwing the following exception:

    ```
    ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function IPS\forums\_Forum::clubForm(), 1 passed in /var/www/html/init.php(913) : eval()'d code on line 29 and exactly 2 expected (0)
    ```

    I'm running Invision Community v4.6.12 and V1.2.1 of this plugin.
    Any help would be much appreciated!

    @GreatJackal I need more information.
    The best thing is if you send me privately an access to your ACP so I can investigate the causes of this problem.

    All good, we already resolved it ourselves, since we can't wait 4 days for you to get back to us 😉

  3. Hi there,

    I'm having trouble getting the application to work. We previously ran on version 1.3.2 . But after our IPS upgrade to 4.6.7 we upgraded the plugin to the latest version 2.1.0. After the upgrade we are not able to issue awards to our members, and also members are not able to view their awards.
    When taking a look at the Logs in IPS we can view all awarded awards. So that cannot be the issue. I think all permissions are set up correctly. So I'm kinda lost on what to do here.
    Could you help us out? Thanks in advance!

    I just see the error in the code for evo-x points, I won't need login.

    I will sort it in the update, disable the use of them to be increased for now and hopefully I can push out the update in the next couple of days, Unless you have access to your server and I can give you a manual edit

    Hey @TheJackal84 - any chance you can add Clubs to the list of things that can get points? Currently I am only able to set the points gained for forums, but it would be great if we can set this for Clubs too

    The main problem is that reputation is not a bank that you can add to or remove from. It is a tally of reactions to content and therefore is a mathematical function. So adding reputation is not as simple as incrementing a counter. It requires a reaction to be made on a piece of content. It can't simply be arbitrarily added or removed.

    How are apps like this able to exist then -

    It has a reputation altering "item"

    We are also able to edit reputation through ACP

    Not saying you are wrong - but im rather genuinely curious

    cheers

    Oh, if you need a Topic\Post, just return the $content then. I thought you needed the topic.

    Hey

    Will you please consider adding an action that removes reputation points from a user, so i could have a function thats

    IF member gets warned

    Remove X reputation from member

    would be awesome

  8. Any chance you can add a Lottery system to this?

    I had an older app called Economy with IPB 3 and it allowed a shop, lottery (to give away items) that people could use their points  to purchase

    I know custom items have also been mentioned - would be a great addition (even if it just sends a PM to the purchaser and a notification to another user group to action the purchase)

    I'll take a look.

    No way. A FULL refactoring of the app would be required and this is totally out of question. Wait for Raw's return next month and make your request directly to him.

    I more meant - allow us to expand/collapse categories. Treat them like Forums are treated. If someone wants to be able to view all awards on 1 page - give them the freedom to. The fact I have to click on Awards and then on a Category is too many clicks and costs traffic. It should be a simple 1 click and it shows everythging (or allows you to collapse categories - just like how IPS treats them)

    We have installed iawards in our community. I have a couple of questions:

    - Is there a way to make multiple awards of the same type "stack"? (i.e. with a counter)

    - Is there a way for users to make awards appear differently (e.g. hide/show, different order) in different places (such as profile, posts, side panel)?

    Not sure I follow.

    You have settings for this. You can choose image size, alignment, etc.

    I have had to hard code it in myself - but its annoying af and does not always work with your updates therefore requires manual re-customization (so it would be nice if you integrate it into the app yourself).

    Secondly - i am having a lot of pains with categories - cant delete them, and awards that i move from one cat to another doesnt register that way on forums. It just means more painful manual database editing.

    Please give us the option to NOT have categories - they are extremely annoying. I used to like the older iAwards where there were no categories. At the very least give us an option to disable - i have asked for this in previous updates and many others wanted it too.

    As in a form submission gives a member a bump in reputation or reputation support in the form logs (like button in form log message)?

    That is one way of looking at it,

    But I also want members to get a subtraction of their reputation when they have been warned through the warn system. Idea is that repeat offenders will build a negative rep through this.

    But also the option of increasing Reputation as an action through all the events/conditions that currently exist. For example if member creates 20 pieces of content in a certain forum, their reputation should be increased by 5 (for example).

    Member gets warned for spamming, their reputation should be decreased by 5 (for example)

    Build your own forms for your members without coding experience. Support included for pm, email and topics.

    Hi Mike,

    Are you able to add an Action that modifies a members reputation (both negatively and positively)?

    Would really appreciate it

    Will see what I can do in a future version as i see a few like the way we had it before.

    Hey @-RAW-

    Another suggestion for next update:

    Can you please have it shown in profile view who awarded the award? Perhaps on the tooltip too if you are up for it, but I think this is a very useful feature that many will be able to utilize.

    Thanks

    1. Receive: If yes the members in this group can receive the award.
    2. Self: If yes the members in this group  can award themselves with this award.
    3. Restrict Multiple: If yes members in this group can only be awarded once with this award.

    Now we use categories and can't be displayed this way now, the reason category is used now is because some forums had many awards per category and it looked bad on the front end.

    Hi,

    Just checked and all seems fine here, some emailed me about permissions issues but were fixed when they redid their permissions.

    I just re-did all my permissions

    However user groups who do not have teh "Award" permission to give the award, are still able to hand it out.

    One more thing,

    Raw, can you please give us the option to disable category view? I really liked the way earlier versions displayed all the awards at once.

    ALSO

    The sorting order, I really enjoyed having awards sorted in a specific order, now it seems that this is ignored (even if sorted correctly in the ACP).

    I know there are many others in this thread who also want these features back
