Are you sure that this approach is compliant with the EU lawset?
-
When i download PII informations, there are still tons of IP addresses, which seem to be older than 30 days.

The patch was applied days ago.

I applied the patch, but it's still not working, no change at all.
Could you have a look?
Thanks!

i got feedback on my ticket that it is a bug in the software.
I told them, that i have to stress out that violating current laws regarding PII can mean severe penalties for those running a community. That's why i urge invision to bring up a quick solution and not wait for an upcoming release.
Answer was:I'll see if we can release a patch for this once my code changes were reviewed and merged for the next release. -
ssh access details have been updated.
-
I'm talkink about stored IP addresses, not email addresses at this point.
According to the Member History
******** was last used at 04/17/2023
******* was last used at 04/17/2023
******** was last used at 06/05/2022So it's stored longer than 30 days. Or do i misinterpret something ?
This user has e.g. a even longer "history": Member History
Besides that, it would be interesting how to delete certain PII data after 30 days like the IP addresses. -
Hi, i updated and doublecheck the Admin CP Access access deatils.
htacess and ssh detail not needed and not working.
-
Have a look at User "sloth" in my community for example
-
Usually they work.
Yes.
Can you have a look?

Yesterday i set that IP addresses of members shall be deleted after 30 days.
But even today, when in downloas PII data, older IPs are still there.
How to fix this?

Clearing the communities cache did the trick. Thanks!

I had a custom menu item made with the menu manager, which linked directly to some pages on the community (privacy, rules and so on)
When clicking it in the menu bar at the forums start page, nothing happens:
When trying to edit it, the page just reloads:
When trying to make a new one, the option for it (and nearly all others) are disabled:
What's going on?

I will not continue supporting this app in IPS 5. I may set the repository on Github for this application to public in a while, unless someone else is willing to take over this application.
Support will continue in the 4.x series, and updates will be sent on demand when needed.
Oh. Thousands of members use it on my site 😥

I have a community wit 70k members, lots of them registered in the community map.
When opening the map, it takes ages until it works. Until then, nothing respons anymore.
Please HELP!
-
Yeah, but if the user didn't do that, there should be a mechanism like a forced line break.

Please apply the latest patch and have them try again. Patch can be found in ACP -> Support.
We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.
We look forward to further assisting you.
Done, but it still doesn't work.

Both.
For example new customer: invoice #440 (heikod)
Deleting IP Addresses does not work

If that approach collides with current EU law, i guess you would need to change that unless you dont care if you lose every serious EU customer.
Edit: In my opinion this is not a corner problem but fully Invision's responsibility to offer compliant products for a market as big as the EU.
