I could go on here about the love but there's too much of it 😄 
One area I was hoping to see settings for was the editor and having that simplified and put into settings. Any plans on that in the future either?

We didn't have theme settings specific to the editor, but the button hover colors now use the area_background settings - so yes, they are easily customizable now 🙂

This is awesome.
It would be nice to use this feature to pull from a pages database category. Having this kind of control over database blocks is what I've been waiting for, for years!
I've been running a news site, pulling the story image and having control over that image and title is the dream. That would give us 100 times more control over featureless marketplace solutions.
Could you please include a block that does this using the solution you're providing here. To me this is the most exciting update announced. pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeee....

"Take me to the most popular comments" or
"Take me to the highest rated comments"
The reason why that's so important is because the most popular or highest rated comments // content by the community usually defines the best answers without the need to read through the entire topic to get to the most informational or informative answers of the topic. Not many people anymore want to read an entire thread to get to the best answer(s) provided by the community. This could be a game changer in forum software. The idea here is to promote the highest quality content and keep people on the site, not deter them because they have to read pages upon pages to find the best answer.
The way this is now is just moving around what we had, these options do not help in defining the most informative content for a user that wants to save themselves some time, it also doesn't reward people for giving the best answers nor does it persuade people to try and give a best answer. We're still forced to read content that may not even apply to the topic subject at hand.

Great additions here but...
We still need control on a per group basis on how much any particular module can be replicated. 
Example: Group members (non-premium membership or free membership) can only create
 1 gallery or 1 topics etc... 
Group members plus (which is a premium paid membership group) can create
 Multiple topics, galleries etc...
Being able to define the difference in feature upgrades for premium groups here is a major selling point for generating revenue.

Since there's an option for skin tone there should also be an option for any color. This would help tremendously for specific colored themes. I actually designed my icons and colors previously, it'd be nice if users could just change to match. Blue is a popular color for example..

Short story, I have 3 boys ages 26, 22 and 9. So my 2 oldest ones grew up and left home and the wife and I were in the clear. I was working for a major automotive paint manufacturer at the time and was offered a position being a advanced trouble shooting tech. That position required me to basically travel the US waaaaaay too much, diagnose and fix issues with the most coveted customers the company had. Basically, when we had a great big money spending customer about to leave over a issue they sent me in to save the day. So anyhow, I got called into the Chicagoe area a few weeks after my last boy 22 left home. I took the wife, we had too many drinks and before you know...as Brittney would say... Oooops, I did it again... Damn... That was short lived freedom. Moral to this story is Brandon... Well, I don't know, just thought I'd mention this   
Since my youngest is 9 now, I have 9 more years to go...   But he's awesome and I wouldn't trade him for the world..

Sounds great, please bring up the search for the shop  
If someone use the shop with lot's of products customers like to search for what they're looking for. 
It's one of the important feature which is missing.
