I have the "What's New?" menu item going to "Unread Content". Is there a way to have that conditional, so that guests go to "All Activity" instead?

Guests are unable to view this stream. I can't for the life of me figure out how to make that work. I swear it used to just show all new content to guests. Is this possible? 

Is there a way to allow guests to open support tickets?

vB 3.8 import into existing site. All of the imported users have the newsletter/bulk mail option opted out. When registering, the default is opted in. Any way to bulk change these in the database? I can't figure out where it's stored (what table/column). Thanks. 

Okay, found the "enable legacy bbcode" switch. Looks like it only works after edit/save posts, though. Any way to bulk update/refresh?

Uninstalled all 3rd party apps and plugins, ran the import again, worked like a charm. Weird that it didn't error or anything. Just a silent failure. But I'll take it. Thanks.

Not sure if my opinion is worth anything, but it'd be useful to have all the rebuild/recalc options on the support page (like clear caches). vBulletin does it that way (or at least used to) and it was quite handy.

The workaround I can see:

1. Go into any member from Admin panel
2. Click down arrow under Posts
3. Click Recount
4. Select Recount for all members

Follow the same procedure for Reputation Level.

I was worried about that. Trying again with all 3rd apps/plugins removed. 

In past releases, didn't the applications page tell you it was disabled if incompatible? This latest version doesn't appear to do that anymore. Maybe I'm crazy. 

There's a ton of these. Doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. Looks like the converters silently failed, although it shows the conversion was successful.

Another example, as I thought maybe the apostrophe in the title had something to do with it: 

I have an interesting problem. After importing a large vBulletin 3.8 site into my IPB site (2M ish posts), many newly imported threads appear within their forum, with post counts, dates, topic starter, etc, but when you click you get "There are no posts to show".

Is there a way to rebuild the reputation and post/content counts? I could've sworn I've done this before but can't find it to save my life. Tried searching the board but that's been fruitless so far. 

Yeah, I should've come back and replied to my own thread. Sorry. It was definitely that. 1,334,550,782 to be exact. The previous admins of the site I'm importing had fun with post counts and reputation counts........

Ok please do. I’m curious why there used to be a 3.x converter and now it’s gone, 3.8+.
