I too have errors with the Classifieds application when enabled on 4.7.3 running php 8.x and the only way to get my site to display is to disable classifieds. Hoping an update is coming since I do like the app

First I wanted to thank you @InvisionHQ for such a great, well rounded, solid application. Curious if you plan on making it possible for users to filter advertisements by State or within so many miles. Since the website attracts users from all over the world, it would be great to limit what they see based on location. Feels like you are so close since we can add location for the products but I don't see anything really using that besides the map (which I like by the way) just want to make it easier for users to find products near them. Thanks for making this. Is it in the works to possibly allow the ability to Add RSVP Guests that are non-members? Scenario on how I wanted to leverage this. Wedding Guest List where they are limited to so many people. It would be nice if you could add a person and address with expected number of RSVP and once they send the RSVP back with the accurate number of RSVP edit it on the calendar so always have an accurate number of guests. Is that realistic with this app? Figured I'd ask since you never know unless you ask. Doesn't appear nothing out there exists like that for Invision Community but would be nice. So many Events that could leverage a calendar system that you could add non-members. The way it works now is all 500-1000 people would have to register on the site for them to RSVP and its not realistic especially since many of the guests are elderly and not sure they even have a computer or smart phone. Sorry to be a pain.. got another question for you when you get time (not urgent) I used your FORMS app to create a Guest List for a wedding that they will be able to export so they can create address labels and keep track of how many guests are coming since its a bunch. Anyhow the brides mom loves this but wanted me to make a change to a field I had from one name to another and add a field so its very easy to do so I did that BUT when I display the logs it still shows the old name And final question on "How Do I?" is when they get the RSVP back, can they edit the log and add how many guests that are in the RSVP? Basically can they edit form log entries?

Yea thats how I thought it would work but the above image is me filtered on just test_form and yet you see columns from the guest_list as well. Its not a huge deal since I can delete the extra fields from the CSV but just wanted you to know since someone who has lots of forms would have lots of fields and that could get tricky to delete.

Gave it a try this morning Edited /applications/form/modules/front/forms/logs.php BEFORE changing it AFTER changing it Now when I export logs Looks like that patch worked to fix the export of the address field. Would be nice if I have a form filtered that only those fields get exported. If you have a lot of forms, this would get huge with the amount of columns for each field for every form you have is being exported/included in your csv.

Thanks Marc.. I kinda figured that but obviously adding all the states to a dropdown Field for each database (Powersports, Offroad, Street, etc) gets redundant and I was hoping someone could search for a state and it would show everything from all databases that have that state but I'm going to guess that won't work if I create the field per database. I know, I'm always difficult and want to push the software to the limits and beyond. 🙂

Thank you for your response and I have to apologize I'm still confused. So if I create a database called Locations and then attached that database to a Page called Destinations. Now I create records in the Locations Database for each State? Title: Alabama (AL) Now in my Street database I create a field that uses the Database Relation and I link to the Locations Database but when I create a record in Street I see the new field but there is no dropdown for the Locations (Database Relation). I'm sure I'm messing up somewhere. Was hoping the Address Field would of worked since its already defined and created and available all over BUT you need a full address and can't just get away with entering a state which is a bummer.

I apologize if this is a stupid question but I know there must be a way to do this and I'm just not figuring it out. I have a club which includes Street Racing, Offroading, PowerSports etc.. and I have a Database for each to hold articles. Each of these Databases need to be able to link to something like the address field BUT with Offroading we just need the state since it traverses multiple cities.. same goes for PowerSports when it comes to the category trails. I tried to create a database called Destinations and then proceeded to create select box with each state and I was hoping to cross reference the database from the offroad database and powersports database but drop down doesn't work when I do that. Any suggestions besides creating the field in each database?

In ACP I click on Customization - Appearance - Themes On the default theme I clicked the </> icon to Edit HTML and CSS On the left under Templates I scrolled down to quizzes - front - browse - subCategoryRow Almost at the bottom of that template I saw the following Made the correction you mentioned in your post above and clicked Save Now all is good and it works. First wanted to say I do enjoy this product. Thanks for making it. I have a weird template error when using subcategories that I'm hoping you can help with. I'm using Default Invision Community theme and I did click System - Support - Get Support and cleared cache (as it suggested) but no difference. I also disabled any customizations and no difference. Have you seen this before and if yes, could you share the fix? Only happens when using subcategories. Checking out your plugin and looks very promising. Wish you had the ability to leverage Downloads in posts (forum, blog, calendar, etc..) so if someone creating a post or reply has the ability to add a file to downloads or from downloads. Basically, I would rather have downloads manage users files then wherever the files go when I click on choose files... at the bottom of a post. It appears no one offers the ability to embed or attach directly to/from downloads or gallery (prefer downloads to be my file depot).

Just installed and on the front-end if I click Media Uploader, click Upload and select Category and I get the following error: [[Template mediauploader/front/global/uploadforms is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] In the backend I see this for error (not sure if its helpful) I confirmed I am on the DEFAULT theme which appears to be a requirement for the app so I don't believe that's it and I verified permissions so not sure what else I need to look into.

I've done what you are talking about before but in this case I'm apparently trying to make things as hard as possible for me since I must not have anything else to do. lol My business site (EventGuyZ) is suppose to be just for Event related items like our Box Office software, Count Room software (both that work on Invision Community) as well as our DJ and Minister and all that stuff. Well it also started to collect I.T. related items that are definitely not Event related so I'm trying to move those items off onto hosang I.T. website since it just confuses people on our Event website. Only way I could think of doing it (thought the lazy way) would be to do a conversion (copy everything over from eventguyz to hosang I.T.) and then just delete the event specific stuff from hosang I.T. but I'm realizing much of the I.T. stuff is blog related so I have to copy anyhow so as I type this I realize I probably took the wrong approach but I didn't know blogs didn't carry over. That's the long winded response but I do appreciate your advice in the event I was just moving to a new site but unfortunately not that easy.

Thank You @Marc Stridgen, it shows that migrating from IP 4.7.0 to IP 4.7.0 Blogs are not included which is so weird and unexpected since its the same software and version but I'm not as smart as you guys so I'll do manual. Probably take me a month of copy and paste but its the price we pay when we change our minds on where you want stuff hosted (which domain). Thanks again for all your help

Just a quick update. So it looks like it completed but something odd is it didn't carry over any blogs.. nothing from the clubs, nothing from the main site. It appears as though blogs was just straight up excluded. Is this an expected result?

Thanks guys... I changed from php 8.0 to php 7.4 and restarted the conversion process and it immediately has made much much more progress. I am going to assume its going to work based on what I see so far but if anymore errors I'll post them but either way I'll let you know if this is fixed or other issues

I tried what you suggested and no difference, same error. What I did was: Customization - LOCALIZATION - Lanugages Create New English (USA) Make default is checked disabled old one that even though fresh install of Invision Community 4.7.0 it showed English (USA) customized

Yes, it says custom but I haven't customized anything with language packs. This guy can only speak English.. 🙂
