  1. Being concerned about giving ACP access is a valid concern, and a concern that site administrators should never take lightly. That is a decision for each administrator to make.

    With third-party applications there are many variables in play. Every site is set up differently (e.g., configurations, modifications, applications/plugins, server set up, etc.), and so it is impossible to take into account of everything. In most situations the applications do work out of the box. There are some cases when applications do not work as intended and part of the troubleshooting process is to determine whether the issue is global or isolated. As far as I can tell the issue is not global and the application author could not replicate what you've experienced. Based on what I've read, the issue seems to be isolated to your site. There's only so much you can do by posting replies back and forth.

    The author asked for ACP access, not full ACP access to be specific. You could have PM'ed her and discuss what she'll need access to. If you do give out ACP access, you can restrict the access levels, such as restricting access to your members and payment information. For this particular app, it's unlikely she'll need access to those information anyway. But don't quote me as I don't know what the author requires. Below is what she asked for. I don't see "full access", just "ACP credentials". Excuse me for chiming in. :p

    If neither of the above are the answer, I will need ACP credentials in order to troubleshoot this on your site directly. You can PM me with this information.

    Yes enabling that setting will trigger rewards based on a members total donations rather then the new donation they are making at the time. In that scenario you would disable any group promotion on the first reward and enable it on the second reward. That should hold off any group upgrades until they reach the $50 mark for their total donations.

    Thanks!

    Let's say that I want the first donor group ( $5 - $49) to be promoted, and then a second promotion for donor group ($50 - $99). Do I have the right settings?

  3. If I have several Member Rewards based on the amount total (of all donations made by a member) rather than individual amounts can I do the following?

    donation-3.jpg

    The example below is 2 Member Rewards. Donor and Advanced Donor.

    donation-1.jpg

    donation-2.jpg

    Based on these settings, once Donor reaches $50 (of all donations combined) will the member be promoted to Advanced Donor?

    If not, what else do I need to do?

    As a note:

    As of the latest version of IPS, the exclusion ability does not seem to be functioning as hundreds of members suddenly had badges they did not want to display in posts have now appeared.

    Anything that can be done about this?

    I've been reporting this issue since a while ago. It's frustrating.

    I cannot figure out how to award anybody with anything. I've sent multiple messages to iAwards and nobody contacts me. Finally I just tried to uninstall it from the ACP. I got this error:

    Error: Call to undefined method IPS\awards\extensions\core\FileStorage\Awards::delete() (0)
    #0 /home/turkeyc/public_html/applications/core/modules/admin/applications/applications.php(1132): IPS\_Application->delete()
    #1 [internal function]: IPS\core\modules\admin\applications\_applications->delete()
    #2 /home/turkeyc/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(85): call_user_func(Array)
    #3 /home/turkeyc/public_html/system/Node/Controller.php(63): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute()
    #4 /home/turkeyc/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(129): IPS\Node\_Controller->execute()
    #5 /home/turkeyc/public_html/admin/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run()
    #6 {main}

    And the title of iAwards in the Applications part of the ACP is now "__app_awards 1.0.7.5". And I assume now it is half installed and half-uninstalled. I can't figure out how to use it, I can't get any support, and I can't uninstall it. I again went to their website and it is down. For the umpteenth time, would someone please help me? Please contact me through the board or send me an e-mail please?

    I had the same error while trying to uninstall iAwards.

    What worked for me was "Upload a new version" (1.0.8.2). The installation failed. However, I was able to uninstall iAwards.

    You will need to remove the iAwards folder in the Applications folder of IPS, and the iAwards folder in the Uploads.

    It's not the cleanest way to uninstall the app but it was the only way for me to uninstall it.

    Version: 1.0.8.2

    1. Award categories upon saving results in a blank white page. Category title is blank. Category image is blank.

    • On a fresh IPS install, the categories saved correctly.

    If I modify the database directly the information saves, and I can see the category changes in the ACP.

    When I try to change the category settings in the ACP and press Save, it goes to a blank page. Nothing saves. It's as if nothing happened.

  7. @Mike John

    IPS: 4.1.12.2
    Donations: 3.2.13.2

    Donation settings are still not saving the correct PM Sender. It goes back to the user I'm logged in as.

    I've tried to edit the settings.json file, but that did not make a difference.

    Anywhere I can make the changes?

  8. Version: 1.0.8.2

    1. Award categories upon saving results in a blank white page. Category title is blank. Category image is blank.

    • On a fresh IPS install, the categories saved correctly.

    2. Sorting issues as listed previously are still issues, even on a fresh IPS install.

    • On a fresh IPS install, the sorting is still displaying incorrectly. ACP setting is to show 5 Pane awards. If I have 3 user awards and excluded all 3 of them, still 2 awards are displayed. No awards should display.
    • If I exclude 2 awards, still 2 awards are displayed. Only 1 award should display

    I don't know why #1 is a problem on my live forum. Are there any known issues with other applications or plugins with iAwards?

    Fixed on 1.0.7.10 @Chris59 can confirm.

    The counts were still off, so I decided to do a fresh install.

    The problem I'm having now is that I cannot delete iAwards. When I do it gives me a blank white page.

    The URL at the error is

    &app=core&module=applications&controller=applications&do=delete&id=awards&deleteNode=1&wasConfirmed=1

    Hello,

    Go to ACP > Servers > click the blue button "Media Tags" > Add new tag for Daily motion

    Title: Dailymotion

    Media Replacement Match:

    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/{1}_{2}

    Media Replacement HTML

    <iframe frameborder="0" width="480" height="270" src="//www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/$1" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Save

    Then you can post dailymotion

    1) Dailymotion wasn't working so I've changed the Media Replacement Match to:

    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/{1}

    2) The video thumbnail does not generate automatically in Dailymotion. :(

    You guys still have this even with the latest 2 versions?

    Thanks for the update, -RAW-! I see my name too. :p

    Sadly the count is still wrong.

    ACP pane = 2 awards
    User settings = 0 awards excluded
    Result = 3 awards shown in the author pane

    ACP pane = 2 awards
    User settings = #1 award excluded
    Result = #2 and #3 awards shown in the author pane (the count is correct but...)

    ACP pane = 2 awards
    User settings = #1 and #2 awards excluded
    Result = #3 award shown in the author pane (only 1 award shown; it's supposed to be #3 and #4 awards shown for a total of 2)

    ACP pane = 2 awards
    User settings = #1, #2, #3 awards excluded
    Result = 0 awards shown in the author pane (it's supposed to be #4 and #5 awards shown for a total of 2 awards)

    The hovercard count is also off.

    My users really enjoy their awards, but one thing I would like to request is the ability to delete rewards without entering the ACP.

    We have a league which gives out awards based on the number of wins a user has, and while the league manager has permissions to award the new medals to his league's members, I have to remove the old awards in the ACP.

    If this is already in the code or is added please let me know and I'll renew!

    Have you tried going into the users' profiles and delete it from there?
