As expected yet another dev has abandoned it altogether. It is only becoming more and more effort, numerous different dev sites to sign up to, costlier to develop custom replacements, increased passing the buck chances.

Yeah, I'm familiar with that, but that list moves fast. I have over 250,000 downloads that gets quite a bit cluttered.  I know I can export as a CSV and sort it via username, but it shouldn't be that difficult to just get a list of the downloaded files per user.

This one has always been a major complaint on my site...  This also seems like it should be basic functionality of the downloads system.

Why can you not set a download category as a section that can't be uploaded to and act just as a category header?  I've tried multiple addons that are supposed to help, but they don't really work as expected.  Currently setting permissions to not allow uploads to the parent category effect the child categories.  Why not have a a toggle for that section to act as a header only (display all files for child cats under it like it currently does), just don't allow files to be uploaded to that section.

Currently if a user simply updates the file details/text/description etc the file bumps up as an update to that file. Some users take advantage of this, without uploading a new file version, to try to keep their files on the updated list.

Per request; posting this as a suggestion to not have a file show as updated when ONLY details about the file have been changed/updated. Files should only show as updated when the actual File has been updated with a new version. Simply editing the file details should not constitute as an "update".

I have members that get tons of likes and for each like they get a notification.  They like getting notifications on comments to their uploaded files, but is there a way for members to disable notifications for "likes"?

I have people wanting to create more detailed Icons and Rank Badges.  The problem is that they are so small you can't see any detail on the images.  I think it would be nice to be able to view a larger image via lightbox from the users profile/badge page.

I figured out what the issue was, and it may be worth noting.
The maximum file size Cloudflare's CDN caches is 512MB for Free, Pro, and Business customers and 5GB for Enterprise customers. Enterprise customers can contact their Cloudflare Account Team to request caching of larger files.
 
 

I'm looking for a plugin/addon that would show users how many more downloads they are allowed within a given time.  On my site I limit specific user groups to a specific number of downloads from the files section within a 24 hour period.  There is nothing that indicates how many downloads a user has or if they have reached their limit for the day.  Currently; the only message that appears when a user reaches their download is simply "You don't have permission to download this file".  This message is confusing to people as they believe that they have been banned and sometimes causes users to register another account...

I think something like this could be used as a marketing tool that could help push users towards subscribing to the site.
Specifics:
* Located near the download button in files section.
* Show user a reminder of how many downloads they have left for specified time period.
** Once their # of downloads for the time period have ended, let them know their number of downloads in specified time has been reached, have it suggest starting a subscription and link to the subscription page.  
* Possible block for the Pages application so it can be placed anywhere on pages.

I did not see this mentioned in any of the posts but what about cloudflares 100mb file upload limitation.  I need this to host my downloads section of which most everything is above that size. On the S3 Compatible downloads plugin it says that it does not support chunking to wasabi. It states that the author isn't interested in making the changes to make it compatible with wasabi chunking. Am I alone that I would pay just about any amount of money to get that working?
EDIT: So I got it all set up and it seems regardless of what the plugin says chunking files to wasabi is no issue.  PHP limits set at 50mb and just uploaded a 1.4gb file to wasibi no problem through the downloads app.  I did attach a card to wasabi account and downloading the file gives me a permission denied notice but I am assuming it just needs some time.
EDIT2: Seems to be working just fine, It seemed to take an hour to start working right or adding another non root user fixed the issue, not sure which.  Moving files to wasabi manually using CyberDuck to avoid paying S3 to move 700gb and I had a local backup. Download speeds seem about 10x faster than my S3 test getting about 20MB/s so that's a huge win. I had to turn off "Prevent Direct File Linking" in the downloads settings to get file names from garbling, with normal (self hosted & s3) ipb adds a bunch of characters to file name but it looks fine on listing and when you download. With wasabi on NEW uploads, the new file name with the extra characters shows in the file listing and downloads with the extra characters (turning off the prevent direct linking solved this issue).  However preexisting files work as expected.  Other big note, cloudflare so far is beating the snot out of stackpath, which was my previous cdn.

It still appears duplicate member logger is not working and either sending out the pm's or banning the duplicate accounts
Please advise on when this will be fixed?

I believe you should need to provide support on the site where the product is sold.

I'll need either board access or a full copy of your most recent error logs in the uploads/logs/ folder. It's obviously failed at 1 point and has prevented the rest of the database changes to be made.
If you load ACP > System tab > Support > Something isn't working correctly. Do you see any errors mentioned for the videos database tables?
