If you ever use Slack when you place a URL to an external site sometimes it will auto show a preview. 

Is this something that on the roadmap or apart of the new editor? 

I have noticed many times after the updates. I don't go and attempt to make a post I come back in a bit later and page won't load the editor. I have to always remember after upgrade to clear system caches. 

It's been so quiet any more teasers or show & tell? 

I have checked my notifications at the system level and both my site and here are set to allow. On two different computers and my iPhone. It's not often that it happens it's just perplexing why I get shown the notification the browser/os never presents the question because I've already told it to allow. 

This may be a browser issue but I have agreed to this many many times here and on my site. What causes it to constantly request permission?

Now once a set of elements are dialed in and you think your style is the cat's meow could we some how export the recipe for others to import? So others with more time on their hands could produce a full set . 

I am curious where the permissions level exist for these styling and theming changes  so that if I wanted to hire a designer to edit my site they would have an account have restricted access limited to such tasks not other data schema schema.

I have it installed  and active I just don't see any buttons on my site.

I took screen shots and also copied and pasted all the info including the key and added it to 1Password

as long as the setting for a forum can be made individually or in bulk I think currently some things (best answer)  are stored in bitwise so there is no easy way to change all forums to use a given setting. 

So far the process to transfer has been good two of 4 done, and only two items don't yet have a provider. 

would be nice to see the reach of announcements. Including impressions, clicks, and perhaps who interacted or dismissed it. 

It would be nice if announcements could be constrained by time to start and stop announcements. Sometimes you have embargoed until a specific time - I hate having to get up super early to make the announcement. 🙏

In the past I had installed HotJar on the server and it allows you to watch video of what the users are doing and I know the there is a sweat shop in Inda that people are manually creating accounts, and with in seconds of verifications they have a edited their profile with a picture and usually some blurb in the about us with links usually copy and pasting.

I don't get the effort to bother sometimes they create an account and let it sleep for a while then come back to edit it. 

I am curious what was the impetus originally to move the MP into the ACP was it mostly for the compatibility checker?  

Will the compatibility checker still be a thing, or is this deprecated too? 

I love this conversation but I posted something similar back in 2017 and it was removed because this type of post was against policy?!

Curious about what will happen to the Marketplace forum will that go to read-only? There may be posts that are still valuable. In addition to existing reviews of said apps? Will this data be transferred to whatever takes the place of this?

Would it be possible when this goes into effect; in our ACP for our currently installed apps/plugins (enabled or disabled) to have a new LINK to the actual provider in the new Providers Directory and a placeholder for known but inactive providers who have yet to set up their profile?

Yea one-stop-shop, to find what is available is invaluable. 

At least add a TAG/CATEGORY to the Providers directory for Product Marketplace if one of these providers will host and maintain an amalgamation of products of their own and others who sell for the platform. 

Hopefully, discussions of Marketplaces and future requests for <insert app that does xyz> will not be forboden such as conversations about web hosting companies and related topics. 

On the ACP members when I hit the spammers filter I get this error. 

Can you speak yet of any database changes?

I know some settings are stored in a bitwise fashion (forum features) and enabling features in mass across all forums is impossible.

What changes do you anticipate for the ACP, or is the first push focusing on public-facing changes?

You could also use CloudFlair to combat intense attacks. 

During upgrading can we please change the Username/Password fields (what ever mechanism) to allow use of 1Passowrd.  Ideally add ability to sing in using Apple/FB/Google?
