    Hi Matt,
usually you don't reply to my posts, I still write 😛
To put something like two new blocks of "trending content" in a $549 package - I'd be ashamed. Already $149 is a lot, but still somehow justifiable for ambitious projects. Developing AI image moderation and object tagging, that I understand as a challenge, but not two blocks of "trending content".
And what I also still don't understand: Technically your focus is still on the forum, the gallery hasn't had a major update in a very long time. Is the AI supposed to help moderate photos in forums, where they should be blowing up most threads? Or maybe something is still happening with the gallery?

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I think that being able to trigger alerts for specific pages or apps would be really useful.
For example, if someone enters a certain Downloads category with certain products or services an alert could trigger with information specific to that product or product category.  Or, if someone enters a certain forum (or forum category) an alert could pop up to provide relevant information.  You get the idea.

Another scenario (and please do not laugh at me): In our community, more and more users are writing long posts without dots and commas. Sometimes it's hard to read.
When asked, they explained that they used the dictation function on their smartphones to do this. If IPS could recognize that someone entered the text using the dictation function and then a reminder about dots and commas appears, I would like that.

I combined my thoughts on this into an article. Maybe it can be helpful to some:
Does it still make sense to start a new forum or community in the 2020s?

Clubs are public. I don't find permissions in user group permissions (and not in forums). In sitemap rules aren't rules for clubs.
Or is anything wrong with my ACP setup?

@Matt Yesterday I ran a crawl with the same tool as you and saw that all clubs for example aren't in sitemap. What could be the reason?

What are you using to monitor that metric? It generally takes weeks for Google to adjust the index after a change like this, so I'd be surprised if it was impacting page views unless there were errors, etc.

    May I? 😊
Add live meta tag tool to each page (like block manager that can be started on each page from the left side). Right now, we have to go to AdminCP, start live meta tag tool, search for the page we would like to change page title or description. The same for edit. Just too many steps.  Add a possibility to exclude certain Pages databases from sitemap. There can be databases that store cites or quotes. This is not-unique content that should not be crawled. There can be databases, that only used to group records from other databases, they do not make sense standalone. Add an ability to implement structured data visually in Pages databases, see examples for FAQ, Books, Courses, Tutorials, Companies, Videos, Products, Recipes, Persons  https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/structured-data/search-gallery

    Hi @opentype and all,
here's my wish list for Pages. Of course I know that everyone has different requirements and that a change from WordPress to Pages requires compromises.  But let me share my complete wishlist 😉
I use WordPress in its current version. That means: with the Gutenberg editor. I quickly got used to the blocks of the Gutenberg-Editor, I like them. But they are not a must-have. A must-have is an editor that lets me formatting subheadings (h2-h6). Elements like quotations or a picture gallery must be able to be displayed even in the middle of an article. We need more possibilities for interaction in articles - polls, surveys, forms etc. Schema.org markers as FAQ or How-to must be possible. SEO features are a must, and I mean more than meta keywords and meta description as now, but also SEO title, SEO description, settings for no-follow etc. per article. Another must-have for Pages is AMP. An absolute must-have. A good thing would be the possibility to have a "Table of content" by default, which can be switched off per article. (here's the WordPress equivalent). For images in articles it is essential that additional fields are available in the editor (alt text, title, caption, credit, license, image source as URL as in this WordPress plugin). These fields should be displayed at the end of the article (except the caption, of course). Images used in Pages must be better managed and SEO-optimized.  A very German problem is the VG Wort Zählpixel in posts. But this could be realized with an additional field in Pages. A special requirement for us is that the date of the last update should always be displayed in addition to the date of publication. But this can be solved in the template. Other candidates on my wish list concern the whole suite and so Pages too.
Better 404 management (or anyway a 404 management) Better tag pages, which can also be found in a sitemap. With the possibility of editing. With an intro text, an image and SEO functions (title, description, no-follow settings...). And perhaps with customizable sections, for example with 5 entries each from pages, forum, clubs, calendar... Multiple Forms Better newsletter management also for automated mailings (Popular right now, Member suggestions for you, because they wrote in the same forums or clubs or with the same keywords or because they are near me...

This sounds like marketing BS. Cloud is nothing but a bunch of servers. Which technology would be so advanced to prevent simple features from being offered to self hosted clients?
If these features were so resource intensive, it would mean higher costs for you too to host all these websites needing so many system resources. I don't buy this excuse.
Just say that sooner or later your cloud will be the only option and this is the first step in that direcrion. It's like the saying about boiling a frog. If you do it slowly, it doesn't notice the water getting hot and doesn't jump out of the pot and only realizes what is happening when it's already too late.
Be honest and tell us that the self hosted option will at one point be a thing of the past and only cloud will be available since Invision will become SaaS.
You are a business and that is your decision to make but at least be honest about it. This way it just seems you need the self hosted clients to keep paying until you finish the transition period and make the announcement that only cloud remains as an option.

    @Matt
You know I love IPS but as powerful as Pages is, your article templates are still so few, so limited and I'm sorry, but so outdated! Back in IP Content v2.whateveritwas, I was told you'd be releasing more article templates, but years later and there are still no new templates for rapid deployment. The problem is that almost all Pages websites seem to either look pretty much the same, or just awful.
Thank God for the Supergrid templates by @opentype and his very fair pricing policy, they offer a quick and attractive second option to the default template.
Please release some more varied designs or perhaps consider partnering up with a good design company to get some more created.
    Many thanks!

Please, pretty please, with donuts on, can you extend stock photos to include Unsplash for 4.5? Would be brilliant to have this choice built in on release rather than write a Marketplace mod.

Unsplash is good too. We might create an API for that if there's enough traction.
