I have just tested it, unfortunately it does not work.
I have a user in a group who only has the rights to see the database and to read its entries, but no write rights.
The club member can still create entries.

@TDBF, if you like, you can upload your free files to invisionify.com. Reach out to me, if this is an option for you. 😉

Sonya* reacted to Orioni in Achievements rule for anniversary
    Good afternoon, dear Invision Community,
    Context
Some members of my own community have been around for years, if not decades. I would like to display this with automatic achievements.
    Problem
A custom rule would allow me to do so. Unfortunately, the highest level you can set for this rule is “weeks”.

Now, I considered using custom “days” to do this (1 year = 365 days; 2 years = 730 days; etc.). However, leap years throw a wrench, making the anniversary inaccurate.
    Question
Is there another way to solve this, and achieve the result I'm looking for?

For the record, @Patham, there is no such thing as a silly question. Everyone has different abilities when it comes to forum software and the internet in general. The only way to learn is to ask as many questions as you can. I find myself asking questions performing certain functions purely because something I had to do when releasing one community, I didn't do until years later when I created another community.
Glad you found a solution in the end though.

I've been trying to post an image that readers can click and go to another site. I've tried several different ways and either the link doesn't work, or the image doesn't appear.
First, can clickable images be posted on Invision sites and second, if they can be posted, HOW!?
Keep in mind, I have absolutely NO idea what I'm doing and, if anyone chooses to help, I need it explained in the simplest way possible - LITERALLY the simplest, step-by-step instructions that even a small primate with a cognitive defect AND a traumatic brain injury would understand.
ANY help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

I have a Pages database. It uses star rating (not reviews!). I have set sorting by rating in descending order:

    The sorting is weird, though:
Item with 15x5 stars and 1x1 star. Item with 17x5 stars only. Item with 25x5 stars and 3x1 star. Item with 23x5 stars only. Item with 6x5 stars and 1x1 star. Item with 16x5 stars and 1x6 stars. Item with 7x7 stars and 7x7 stars. Does it make sense? Obviously, the item #4 should be placed at the very top, following by item #2.
Should it not be sorted by average as total rating divided by number of votes? Or what is meant with Sort by Rating?

You will want to do the following Spam Prevention items mentioned in this guide: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/security-and-rules/spam-prevention-r9/
Looking at your registration form, you are still using CAPTCHA2. You will want to switch to hCAPTCHA to prevent more automated spam bots.
Check that your Spam Defense is configured correctly for our services in ACP -> Members -> Spam Prevention.
Configure the Flag as Spammer option to be used by you and your administrator/moderator teams to quickly remove spam posts and ban spammers.
You will also want to rotate your Question and Answer challenges frequently and ensure that they are things which you are target audience knows but is not easily Googled. This will prevent spam human users from registering.
If you are seeing spammers from a certain country that your community does not serve, you can also block them in ACP -> Members -> Spam Prevention -> Geolocation Settings.
Finally, if you believe spammers are gaining access to accounts through means of exposed credentials from the dark web. Enabling and requiring Two Factor Authentication will help prevent that.
Outside of the items mentioned above, the next steps would be to take moderation action. Require your base member group to have 1 or more posts approved by a moderator prior to them showing up to the rest of your community without being moderated. Use the automated moderation tools so that if a post is reported x times as spam, the system will automatically hide it for your team to review.
If any spammers do get through, be sure to use the Flag as Spammer option as that will report it to our system and help your fellow administrators.
I will say that no 1 spam prevention method will be 100%. However, hopefully, with all the above, it should cut enough down that you are able to not just wake up to a bunch of spam posts that plague your community. If you deploy the moderation techniques, you will not have your community publicly plagued by spammers.
Unfortunately, in the event that a spammer has dormant account(s) on your site and they have already surpassed an acceptable amount of posts (I say acceptable as some may be borderline that your moderation team may still allow) to bypass the moderation queue, the only thing that will help are successful moderation practices by humans and staying vigilant about the future with the above.

If this is not something you are comfortable with, have you ever considered our cloud platform? It would certainly save you ever needing to deal with servers again

How have you installed your forum? You have downloaded the files and uploaded them on your hosting, right? It is the same way while doing manual upgrade.

Just to mention: word filter does not replace parts of the words. It replaces the whole match only. Partial replacing is not a default feature in IPS, not even in word filters.

The author means the link should be allowed. But the referral part should be replaced by something, like *** either in text and URL.
@WebCMS there is a custom app that makes something similar https://forum.invisionize.pl/files/file/872-dp45-advanced-regexp/

I guess I told my Google Assistant to "shut" too many times, so in retaliation it blocked me from my website.

I am revisiting this topic, as there's still a GUI confusion here.
    In the image below:
the green ✔️ Following button indicates that I am following. If I click it, I will NOT be following.  the green ✔️ Going button indicates that I am NOT going. If I click it, then I will be going.  Same buttons, same wording, same symbol, same color coding - and yet opposite functionality.

IMO, a green checkmark symbol and button should indicate that I am already doing something - like with the Following button.

    @Claudia999
You can use it with any database. You have to include JS/Fxdocs Toc.js in the page that the database assigned to. In the record template of your database find: <section class="ipsType_richText ipsContained ipsType_normal" data-controller='core.front.core.lightboxedImages'>{$record->_content|raw}</section> and add an JS controller like this:
<section class="ipsType_richText ipsContained ipsType_normal" data-controller='core.front.core.lightboxedImages,fxdocs.images,fxdocs.toc'>{$record->_content|raw}</section> You have to use headings h2-h4 in order the TOC be displayed, e. g. with format plugin https://ckeditor.com/cke4/addon/format
