Vikestart got a reaction from orp in Calendar Topics Support
Hmmmm.
Nice concept, but not suitable for what I need I would definitely buy if:
The event info in the topic was in its own box above the OP, separate from the post content of the topic, just like polls are, and is updated automatically if the calendar event is updated. Being able to create a calendar event when you make a topic. -

I don't think so. It also happens when I click anywhere on the slider (not dragging it).
Maybe. Thanks for the advice and info for how to do that!

What's New in Version 2.0.1:
Added limit to the AWAY status. Admin sets a max number of days on ACP setting. The user will have this value as max number of days. -

Looks good. I am considering purchasing it.
However, I would like to request a couple of features that may or may not interest you:
Let the user set an AWAY duration (X days/weeks/months) after which the AWAY status is automatically turned off. The Admin can make this required. Let the Admin configure a maximum AWAY duration after which the AWAY status is automatically turned off. This would help in regards to making sure that members haven't just disappeared and stay in AWAY mode forever. I can imagine that being useful for a lot of situations, such as when you run activity checks for guilds or other communities, where you want to be able to differentiate between users that are likely to return (still in AWAY mode) and the users that are probably lost forever.

Good point. I'll add the warn level into the member attributes in a future version. For now, you could do it by creating a "number value" condition and for one of the numbers to compare choose "PHP Code" as the source and return the member's warn level. I.E:
//<?php return $member->warn_level;

You'll also need to delete the action in your rule and re-create it.

Instead of manual configuration to select individual members, choose PHP Code and select all members from a particular group:
$group_id = 1; // Change to ID of member group to select return iterator_to_array( \IPS\Db::i()->select( 'member_id', 'core_members', array( 'member_group_id=?', $group_id ) ) );

Vikestart reacted to TSP in IPS 4: Norwegian Translation (Norsk, bokmål)
http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/7383-norwegian-norsk-bokmål-for-blog-calendar-and-forums/ (You will have to wait until it's been approved)
This is the Norwegian translation of IPS 4, the remainder of this text will be in Norwegian.
Dette er den norske språkpakken for Invision Power Suite 4. Oversettelsen er gjort til bokmål.
Disse applikasjonene er oversatt:
System / Core Forum - IP.Forums Blogger - IP.Blog Kalender - IP.Calendar Galleri - IP.Gallery Nedlastninger - IP.Downloads

The Forums Expansion Pack has been updated in the marketplace. It now contains new conditions and actions to set or check the best answers on topics.

IPS core has at least one flaw that I know of regarding inline messages. However, I believe the challenge you are facing is that the inline messsge is only displayed when a new page loads, and the reputation feature operates without reloading the page.
Im considering options for a new implementation.

Ew, dont say complicated... say versatile, or flexible, or extensible, or powerful, or advanced, or robust.:)
But not complicated!
Although I know what you mean. Creating rules are like creating little programs.
But the exciting part is that you can now tie apps and site activities together in new ways that were never imagined before.
So make sure to share with us whatever else you are doing with rules so we can all partake!

The event is the same for both. When a member receives reputation, then the member who gave that reputation is also available as data in that event. You can create rules that operate on both the giver and/or receiver of the reputation.

Look for added actions to set/unset best answers in the next version of the forums expansion pack. It currently only has the event available to act on.
