Sorry, I re-read your reply earlier and just wanted to clarify so that we're on the same page, do you mean adding an option to keep it permanently open unless closed? While that is a useful option, not entirely what I meant.
What I meant was, through use of a cookie, to save the open/close state of a widget. So when a page loads, if the last saved state was open it'll automatically re-open, if it was closed, it will stay closed.
Basically, I would like my site chat widget to be closed on first visit, but if members open it, I would like to to remain open as they browse the forums unless they explicitly close it again.
    Hope I made sense

    It's finally here!
The first official major release of the application!
This implements full support for Node/Category settings. Everything that was available in Advanced Tags and Prefixes has been re-implemented here with various tweaks and improvements.
Namely, support for custom "Prefix" language strings, a cleaner tag themed input for prefixes, and the redundant "Select prefix" option will no longer display if you are using a required prefix list (which was an issue I mentioned above with ATP in modern releases).
This release also adds formatting support for regular tags as well, no longer just prefixes!
Lastly, I've done some major refactoring to just about everything and rebuilt a lot of classes with performance in-mind for very large communities.
Thank you all for your patience and let me know if you run into any issues with the application! I hope to add many more features over the coming weeks as well, so suggestions/feedback is always welcome!

    Another small update,
I got another feature idea from a comment another user made to me that will also hopefully be added in the next release.

A "prefix" can be used to describe many things. For a gaming discussion forum, it might be the platform a game is on, as an example. If you are requiring members select from designated prefixes, you probably are using them to describe something specific.
So instead of just having the Prefix field displayed like this,

I plan to add a forum/category based option that lets you customize the language string used in place of "Prefix", so in the screenshot above you could change it to "Platform" as mentioned above, or any other thing that makes sense for you.

Thank you all for your support!
I hope to continue working on this soon, and I'll be sure to keep you updated on its progress!

    Hey Makoto,
Thanks for your consideration on these features and your honesty, I'd love to take advantage of the lower price, though it's too bad I won't be able to use it till later 😩 I'm actually on 4.4, which Ryan's doesn't support (I hadn't realised at the time support had ended) So i'm in a little bit of a pickle. I'll be keeping an eye on this. 😄

    Hey Cyrem!
    Thank you for the feedback!
As the features you mentioned have not yet been implemented in the current version of this application, I would probably recommend holding off (unless you just want to take advantage of the current discounted price, of-course!)
I appreciate your insight on how you're currently using the Advanced Tags and Prefixes application and will reconsider my approach to this. I'll work towards providing an implementation that is workable for everyone.

That would be great, I think it would be annoying if you had to open every time in certain use cases, such as mine.

Considering the use case of a embedding a chat widget, will the floating widgets remain open if I change pages (through use of a cookie)? or will I need to re-open the widget?

May I recommend some easy changes to put with it, you can do these in just a few lines of code... and they'll make a world of difference. I've already modified my own install with it.
Making the "Create Category" page a modal rather than loading an entire page for just 1 field Confirmation modal for removing a bookmark. Seems like a given, not sure how this was missed? Make the delete category a modal as well. Again, it's page for just a single field. I have more recommendations for the Bookmarks UI since it seems to be quite unpolished on this front, but I'll mention them later.
BTW: Is there any options to limit the amount of bookmarks a usergroup can create?

Nice looking plugin, however does it support Keyword Replacements? for example in your image in the file you have "Hello from new user" in the ACP for the template, with a keyword replacement you could have "Hello from {username}" and on the public side it will actually add in the username of the user automatically. Obviously this makes the template a lot more useful if you have a variety of keywords.

Curious, does the export feature just export a list of links or the bookmarked content as well?

Um no thats the SQL result limit and you're actually cutting the amount of results in the query. You probably shouldn't touch that.
Pretty sure you should be modifying the widget not the online module. File: core\widget\whosOnline.php
Make sure you edit times for both member and guest. Hopefully IPS will give this widget an option panel for this, probably just an oversight.
