    Thank you,
I think I solved the license key.

But about the support issue, I think the technical department can log in to my account and resolve support problem.
Worse, they do not respond to emails.

I just looked up your account and I don't see any support tickets from you, to start a support ticket on your account please go to the client area, login with your licensed account, then select the support link.

What email were you sending emails to and from what address?

  2. You can run the support tool and apply the latest patch to remove this error on facebook/instagram embeds.  Due to some large changes on their end, facebook/instagram embed no longer work at this time.  The patch will prevent any errors and post the link as a normal link for now.

We hope to revisit this in feature with facebook/Instagram in a future version.

  3. Here is a guide on a transfer, in your case it's the same method, never use phpmyadmin to export and import the database unless it's like 10Mb. Always use mysqldump via ssh to backup and restore via the command line.  You mentioned this is the same host, is it also the same mysql server?  if not please ensure you are on the proper version on the new server, we recommend mysql 5.7+ or Mariadb 10.2+

I'd suggest caution - this kind of flippant attitude toward the customer base is why people seek out alternatives. Even if those alternatives aren't as robust.

Hello, this isn't a " flippant attitude" at all, please don't take it that way.

This topic has been covered several times however, and management has made the decision that this alert will not be removed, we show this for security and the customers best interest in mind, we are not being selfish, we are not being flippant, and we are not being pushy with this recommendation.  If third party items are holding some back from upgrading, perhaps they need to evaluate how much value that item is brining to the community if it's forcing them to remain out of date.   That isn't an item which we can answer for you though, that is your decision.

With that said, there really isn't much more to add to this topic, so I will close this up.  If anyone has anything further to add on this subject and you feel it's something you want addressed that hasn't been converged already, please submit a support ticket under your account.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I very much appreciate all your advice...thank you

Just to fix one of the issues i.e. Emails going to spam folders, it seems that I could go the route of Amazon SES or GSuite which would add further costs, keep a high performance server possibly with more resources than I need, keep the nginx and CentminMod requiring a professional server admin person which is more costs...OR...go to Centos with DirectAdmin and have a server control panel where I could set up email account within the domain but possibly ??? have a lower performing site and perhaps still have the email issue.

The solution is to get a provider that actually knows what they are doing, by the information you have posted over time, you should get a fully managed provider, you can't really have the best of both worlds, the cost of an unmanaged server, and a properly working one without a proper server admin running things for you.  Email can be sent just fine from a dedicated server if it's setup properly and maintained properly.  This isn't anything new nor is it rocket science, but it does take someone willing to do things right.

Best of luck to you, I hope you find a provider that can offer you some better service though, based on what you posted they replied with, I would run from them fast, as there are likely many other issues they are not paying attention to as well.

  6. This notice is there for a reason, it's simple to remove and all automated, just upgrade!

If you can't upgrade for some reason, we would recommend you find the cause of that and resolve it so you can.

We do not allow code or plugins to remove this item though.

It's in your best interest to be on the latest version for your security, peace of mind, and to ensure upgrades go smoothly.  Skipping many versions can often cause unneeded issues when you do upgrade.

I've not used the MySQL Migration Wizard before, but you probably would be better off using mysqldump to create a backup, copying that backup to your new server, and then importing that dump file via the mysql command on your new server. Details can be found here in the MySQL docs:

    https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/backup-and-recovery.html

This ^  mysqldump and restore via SSH is the only way I would recommend!  (outside of a 20MB database, if it's that small phpmyadmin works fine)

I wonder why image extensions are hardcoded instead of option in ACP? It would be great to have this as an option, so everyone who cares about modern image formats could add them there without any code.

Because, as with most things, there is much more to the picture that users don't see or understand, we have to ensure image processing software can handle these extensions, and often case build in support for them. It's not as simple as saying allow xwz etc.

@Nate Sheets Am I reading that correctly: You have started chasing Zapier themselves to get this moving? If yes, then I love your style. Is there a way I can jump on your wagon and nag them?

@Rhett thanks for the response although it would be much more helpful if you could give us an estimate for when the Zapier integration will be approved. Or failing that, if you could say when it will definitely not be available, i.e. "We definitely will not have it before 2021", then we can all plan accordingly.

Also I think you should remove Zapier from your 4.5 release notes. It's like every day our site shows that blue banner, lying to my face about Zapier integrations. My heart can't take it!

Our team is working on this, I don't have an exact ETA at this point, but we will update any info we have as soon as we have it.   I would refrain from the "lying in your face" comments though, that isn't very nice, nor appreciated.  p.s. you shouldn't have a blue banner on your site, if you are not up to date, then please upgrade!  😛

Edit/Add >  the best estimate we have  right now on this being approved is 3-4 weeks or sooner, sooner being the goal!  🙂
