    Hello,

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I have investigated the issue you reported and the problem appears to be a bug in the current release of Invision Community.

    I have submitted a potential solution for the issue described here and upon review by the development team the fix should be included in an upcoming release of Invision Community. Unfortunately, at this time I am unable to say exactly which release this fix will be included in.

    We do apologize for the trouble. Thank you again for letting us know, and don't hesitate to let us know if you run into any other problems!

    Has this issue since been resolved? I am no longer seeing any background tasks in your queue.

    I don't think so. It disappeared from the main ACP page, but seems to be stuck in the Tasks page:

    Could contain: Text, Page, Word

    Is this ok? Is it supposed to look like this?
    Thank you!

  3. Hello, i just upgraded to 4.7.2 and after rebuilding solved stats in the background i received "locked task: queue" warning in ACP:

    Could contain: Text, Page, Document

    If i try to run it now, i receive:

    2C124/7 There was an issue running this task, please refer to the system log for further information.

    RuntimeException:  (0)
    #0 /blablareplacedpath/applications/core/tasks/queue.php(43): IPS\_Task::runQueue()
    #1 /blablareplacedpath/system/Task/Task.php(375): IPS\core\tasks\_queue->IPS\core\tasks\{closure}()
    #2 /blablareplacedpath/applications/core/tasks/queue.php(55): IPS\_Task->runUntilTimeout()
    #3 /blablareplacedpath/system/Task/Task.php(274): IPS\core\tasks\_queue->execute()
    #4 /blablareplacedpath/applications/core/modules/admin/settings/advanced.php(754): IPS\_Task->run()
    #5 /blablareplacedpath/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(107): IPS\core\modules\admin\settings\_advanced->runTask()
    #6 /blablareplacedpath/applications/core/modules/admin/settings/advanced.php(38): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute()
    #7 /blablareplacedpath/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\core\modules\admin\settings\_advanced->execute()
    #8 /blablareplacedpath/admin/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run()
    #9 {main}

    I see that's a timeout or sometghing, right?

    I tried to unlock the task from the ACP -> Tasks but after a few seconds it locks again🥺.

    What is the problem?
    Thank you!

  4. Hello,
    I'm using login with Facebook social sign-in option (without status imports or promotion) and today i received the following email from Facebook Developer Operations Team:

    In order to keep the Facebook platform and community safe, we periodically review apps for compliance. Your app, Login APP, is missing information that we need in order to review your app.
    Platforms affected: Connect URL.

    - Detailed instructions describing how our reviewers can access your platform
    - Valid credentials for us to login to your app and test/review its functionality and its use of any Facebook API integration

    Notes regarding the above:
    - The credentials on the test account you provide for us to access must be valid indefinitely
    - The experience, once we have accessed your platform for review, must be accurately representative of an organic user experience
    - We will potentially be testing any/all Facebook API integrations you have for compliance under our platform policies: developers.facebook.com/policy

    We need this information from you in order to complete a review of your app. Please reply to this email with the requested information.

    Can you tell me please how should i proceed?
    Thank you!

    As the robots.txt file is very site and version specific and there are other methods, see article mentioned above, I think every site owner has to create his own robots.txt file or "no index" mechanism.

    I agree with you, but I think that certain pages (like login, logout, /*?do=add, /*?do=reportComment*, etc. ) should be disallowed by default...
    Can you tell me please which pages you have disallowed from robots.txt?

  6. Hello,
    I just checked the latest indexed articles in Google and i noticed that they are the following:

    gindex.png.74675be1d9237d077e63b0765cd5845c.png

    lots of "sign in" pages with different URLs, and "create new topic" page from topic view.

    The URLs are the following:

    https://pctroubleshooting.ro/login/?ref=some_random_charcters
    https://pctroubleshooting.ro/forum/45-jocuri-online/?do=add

    from my point of view I should forbid the indexing of these pages. what do you think?
    how can i disallow that dynamic URLs?

    do you have any recommendation for robots.txt?

    Thank you!

  7. Hello,

    I just tried to update my forum (version 4.4.10 to 4.5.4.2), i uploaded all files manually through FTP, then accessed myforum.tld/upgrade and this error prompts:

    [[Template core/front/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

    The theme used on 4.4.10 was the default one with some customizations....

    Does anyone know how i can do the update?
