Once its broken on your test site again, please leave the issue in place and we can get a ticket opened for you

I would imagine that the files in the datastore are built using data from the database.  That line 804 in Members.php is within a function called get_group() and the line mentions member_group, I would suspect a member having an invalid group.

If you are familiar with running sql on your database you could try this, which will return any members that dont have a valid primary group.  You will need to change xxx to the table prefix you are using or remove xxx_ if you are not using a prefix.
    select * from xxx_core_members where member_group_id not in (SELECT g_id from xxx_core_groups);

I'm no expert but as Adriano pointed out, the issue is normally got to do with the first line in the trace.  That is in member.php line 804 which is something to do with primary groups.
Have changed them recently?  Could you have a member that has an invalid group?

That doesn’t mean ALL these resources has issues. The error is indicating and showing all hooks that extends same class. Usually the error is in the #0.

I know that and I didn't mean to imply that. I wanted to bring it to the OP 's attention so he could disable them and see if one of them was the culprit.

The issue may not be related specifically to 1 application/plugin though. It could just be your server having a particular issue once action x, y, z happens and thus creates corrupted/faulty files. To rule out the storage device on your server, you can always switch to Database storage for the datastore in ACP -> System -> Advanced Configuration -> Data storage. If it doesn't happen any more this would point to storage on your server.

For what it's worth, I work with charts in the software in some capacity almost every day and have had no issues.

And of course, in addition to what opentype said above, this does mean it may well not even happen on your live site. Clear the datastore again first of all, and let us know if this goes away again

So is the site working again or not?
Keep in mind: you might be looking at symptoms, not the cause of the problems. If there are faulty files in the datastore (for example because of a one-time read/write error), then receiving all sorts of errors is expected, as the various modules try to process data that simply isn’t there or faulty.

LiquidFractal reacted to teraßyte in PHP8 will be the minimum version from November 2022
@Salvatore Torsi That's indeed a hosting issue on their side instead. I encountered it myself once during an upgrade, it was caused by the folder not being properly created when PHP 8 was installed. And on another server I had a similar issue but it was caused by the folder not having the correct write permissions.
Definitely something your host needs to fix though.

LiquidFractal reacted to Dazz in Is there a way to easily change the subjects of outgoing emails sent by IPS?
My members have been complaining about not receiving emails from my IPS site.  I found out that my host is filtering a lot of the emails that are generated via IPS as spam. I've already done all the server site and DNS settings for DMARC, DKIM, SPF, etc.

They are recommending that I change the subjects of the emails that are being generated. Is there an easy way to add a prefix or something to all outgoing emails?

Its part of it, yes. And the main part that would generally cause an issue if you have incorrectly cached data

Just a followup note.... if you clear the datastore folder, be sure to leave the (blank) index.html in place.

Next time, also try clearing the datastore directory via FTP. That’s usually my magic bullet against such random/complete failures.

There are a few other third party applications/plugins mentioned there in the stack trace which may need to be disabled as well. It is hard to say which one is the culprit, though Videos is the furtherest one up so a good place to start. However, if you don't run into this again with all of them disabled, you would want to turn them on one-by-one till you do find the issue.

The other thing to consider is that there are conditions that happen that cause a conflict between two resources as well. It may be fine when working by itself, but under the right circumstances...  two of the above might be stepping on each other.

It looks like there is an issue with the videos application, looking at the error message there. I would suggest disabling that first of all. Other than that, I would need to see the issue while its in place.

We also covered the switch to PHP8 that is effective with this release.

Also, thank you David for your question! We are excited to bring the functionality for "paid events" to the Events App. This is in the early planning stages but we are happy to tease such a wonderful addition since it is "in the works". 🎉

I make a copy of my database. After the copy, the problem with 'Compact' table type was resolved.

Then I use this process to convert MyISAM tables to InnoDB
From now, this seems to have solved my original problem. But I haven't finished testing in all the apps

LiquidFractal got a reaction from Luuuk in Buttons to instantly purge System, Error logs
It would be nice to have buttons on the adminCP Support page which instantly purge the System and Error logs.
This was made especially clear to me during the recent paradigm shift to PHP 8; the Compatibility Scanner (either alone or in conjunction with other elements of my test site) generated a 396MB System error log.
While we're on the topic, just for the record I find it quite odd (to say the least) that while as Administrator I can set the Error logs to self-purge after 1 day, I have no choice for the System log and must set the purge time to at least 7 days.  Zuh?  This seems a bit nonsensical, especially since in my case I have since fixed what was generating the errors but have to include all of this (now junk) data in system backup files.
