  1. Hello, I just tried upgrading my test site to IPB 4.6.10 (twice) and both times I've received the same result: after downloading and extracting the upgrade file(s), my site throws an HTTP Error 500 and is completely unusable. My only alternative at this point is to restore a backup. I've read recent posts by people with similar issues involving mismatched apps, but I don't think this is the case for me as I don't even get to the point where it starts updating anything - it's the file extraction process which craps things out. Anyone else had this (or something like this) happen?
  2. Now that I know, that's perfectly understandable.
  3. Wow, yeah, umm...it seems obvious, but can the dev say anything definitive as to why it was pulled? I tend to get a bit nervous when this happens to apps I rely on for my business and I hear nothing about it...
  4. Hello, I was wondering if you had any plans to enable the creation of Commerce Product Groups which are only visible to/accessible by certain member groups? I see some organisational benefits to this, as in my specific case (and I presume others) it would save having to tweak individual products if you only want them visible to certain groups. It might also be a good promotional strategy to show people what they can't have unless and until they upgrade their membership etc.? Thanks!
  5. Yes, recently upgrading did seem to sort out all of my issues with both the progress bar and my problems with uploading large files. Thanks for following up on this!
  6. OK, I've noticed something else: I have a test site and a production site. When I create a new Club on my test site, I have an option to instantly create Club features as per the menu below: However, when I create a new Club on my production site these options are missing. Both sites are running ICE 2.0.4.b, and I even uninstalled and reinstalled ICE on my production site. However, this does not fix this discrepancy.
  7. Thanks Daniel - I'll take it up with the developer.
  8. Hello, I've noticed something strange when creating new Clubs. I have a test site and a production site, both of which are running IPB 4.6.9. When I create a Club on my test site there's an option to automatically create Club features as per the menu below: However, this is missing from the Club creation menu on my production site. As I mentioned, both are running the same version of IPB, and disabling all customisations on my production site doesn't resolve this. Is there some setting I'm missing? Thanks!
  9. Hi, Just wondering if the error I pointed out in the previous message is close to being fixed? I'm on IPB 4.6.9 and using ICE 2.0.4b, created a Club, and tried to add a forum. It threw the following error: ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function IPS\forums\clubsenhancements_hook_ceClubForums::clubForm(), 1 passed in /XXX/public_html/init.php(903) : eval()'d code on line 171 and exactly 2 expected (0) #0 /XXX/public_html/init.php(903) : eval()'d code(171): IPS\forums\clubsenhancements_hook_ceClubForums->clubForm(Object(IPS\Helpers\Form)) #1 /XXX/public_html/applications/core/modules/front/clubs/view.php(1545): IPS\forums\hook2938->clubForm(Object(IPS\Helpers\Form), Object(IPS\Member\Club)) #2 /XXX/public_html/init.php(903) : eval()'d code(1026): IPS\core\modules\front\clubs\_view->nodeForm() #3 /XXX/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(90): IPS\core\modules\front\clubs\clubsenhancements_hook_ceControllerView->nodeForm() #4 /XXX/public_html/applications/core/modules/front/clubs/view.php(120): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #5 /XXX/public_html/init.php(903) : eval()'d code(95): IPS\core\modules\front\clubs\_view->execute() #6 /XXX/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\core\modules\front\clubs\clubsenhancements_hook_ceControllerView->execute() #7 /XXX/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #8 {main} As before, I was able to add Club features once I disabled all applications and customizations (including ICE), but the error seems to point specifically to something to do with Clubs so I posted it here.
  10. Hey Adriano, I just updated to Member Notes 2.2.7 on my test site (which is IPB 4.6.9). I tried adding a note to a member in the adminCP and enabled the option to send the note as a PM to that member. I got the following error: OutOfRangeException: (0) #0 /XXX/applications/membernotes/modules/admin/settings/notes.php(274): IPS\Patterns\_ActiveRecord::load('5') #1 /XXX/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(90): IPS\membernotes\modules\admin\settings\_notes->memberNotesForm() #2 /XXX/applications/membernotes/modules/admin/settings/notes.php(31): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #3 /XXX/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\membernotes\modules\admin\settings\_notes->execute() #4 /XXX/admin/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #5 {main} The actual note is saved and is viewable/editable. However, the PM was not sent to the member when I enabled it. I also seem to get the above error whenever I try to add a note without sending it to the member as a PM. However, in all cases the note still saves. Also, for some reason, if I edit a member's note on the Member Notes tab in the adminCP, when I'm done I'm booted back to the Member Note listing for all members who have notes, when I should be returned to the specific member view.
  11. I was having huge problems with this in past versions, but with the recent update it seems to have been fixed.
  12. Hi there, I'm on IPB 4.6.8 and am using Improved Clubs Enhancements v2.0.4b. I've just created a private Club from scratch, but when I try to add a forum to it the suite throws the following error: ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function IPS\forums\clubsenhancements_hook_ceClubForums::clubForm(), 1 passed in /home/XXX/public_html/init.php(902) : eval()'d code on line 171 and exactly 2 expected (0) #0 /home/XXX/public_html/init.php(902) : eval()'d code(171): IPS\forums\clubsenhancements_hook_ceClubForums->clubForm(Object(IPS\Helpers\Form)) #1 /home/XXX/public_html/applications/core/modules/admin/clubs/clubs.php(468): IPS\forums\hook2938->clubForm(Object(IPS\Helpers\Form), Object(IPS\Member\Club)) #2 /home/XXX/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(90): IPS\core\modules\admin\clubs\_clubs->nodeForm() #3 /home/XXX/public_html/applications/core/modules/admin/clubs/clubs.php(38): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #4 /home/XXX/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\core\modules\admin\clubs\_clubs->execute() #5 /home/XXX/public_html/admin/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #6 {main} I was able to add the forum once I disabled all my addons (including ICE).
  13. Thanks Jim. I disabled every language pack except for the default, but when I tried logging back in to the adminCP with a bogus email I got a different error message entirely: "The email address or password was incorrect. Please try again (make sure your caps lock is off)." So it seems like a different type of error altogether being flagged. Moreover, it seems to be hard-coded; I can't find the language for my original error anywhere using the translation option, whereas the error I get with the default pack could be any of the following keys: login_bad_username_or_password login_err_bad_password login_err_no_account But all of these keys have the same values in my customised language pack (i.e. I didn't change them at all). Thoughts?
  14. On the adminCP login screen: if you enter an email address which isn't registered on the site you get the following notification:
  15. Hey Adriano, I'm using Invite System 2.6.3 on IPB 4.6.8. I was editing one of my member groups (Guest) - specifically, I was toggling Can download original image? under the Gallery tab of the Guest group. When I tried toggling this value and saving the changes, I got the following error: REPLACE INTO `invite_groups` ( `is_id`, `is_canvite`, `is_unlimited` ) VALUES ( 2, NULL, NULL ) IPS\Db\Exception: Column 'is_canvite' cannot be null (1048) #0 /home/XXXX/public_html/system/Db/Db.php(969): IPS\_Db->preparedQuery('/*lfctlr_INVI...', Array) #1 /home/XXXX/public_html/applications/invite/sources/Member/Group.php(34): IPS\_Db->replace('invite_groups', Array) #2 /home/XXXX/public_html/applications/invite/extensions/core/GroupForm/Invite.php(60): IPS\invite\Member\_Group::setGroupData(2, NULL, NULL) #3 /home/XXXX/public_html/applications/core/modules/admin/members/groups.php(224): IPS\invite\extensions\core\GroupForm\_Invite->save(Array, Object(IPS\Member\Group)) #4 /home/XXXX/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(90): IPS\core\modules\admin\members\_groups->form() #5 /home/XXXX/public_html/applications/core/modules/admin/members/groups.php(39): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #6 /home/XXXX/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\core\modules\admin\members\_groups->execute() #7 /home/XXXX/public_html/admin/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #8 {main} If I temporarily disable the Invite System I can change the value no problem, but this is something you should probably look into. 🙂
  16. Thanks for the prompt, Marc...it was a permissions issue which has been fixed.
  17. So I am cleaning out a Club so I can delete it. I just moved an album (which I created in this Club) to a private Gallery category. However, the album and its entries still appear in the Activity feed (in the Overview tab), and when I click on it there I'm taken to the album in its new location. I'd assume this should disappear from the Activity feed altogether?
  18. Hello, Could you please fix the option to sort the Member list bu Group in the adminCP? Short version: it doesn't work. Long version: at present it doesn't even group different member groups together - I have one "Client" listed 2 pages down from other Clients, and there is nothing even remotely resembling alphabetical order. Thanks!
  19. OK, update: I opened up a new browser which happened to have my test site as a default tab. So I thought what the hell and signed in to the adminCP. Long story short, I was able to access the upgrade, which completed successfully. So now I'm a bit confused since the "PHP sessions" error didn't appear to have anything to do with the VPS, but rather with issues re: browser caching. At any rate, the test site successfully upgraded (although my confusion hasn't 😆).
  20. I just tried to upgrade my test site and the Invision software threw the following error: The upgrader uses PHP sessions to store data, however PHP sessions are currently not working correctly on your server. This is an issue you will need to contact your host about. I realise that this seems like a server-side issue, but my VPS provider can't seem to find anything amiss. My question here is whether or not anyone else has had this error and, if so, if they have resolved it on anything other than the server-side level? Thanks! EDIT: OK, this is genuinely weird. So I opened up a new browser whose default tab page happened to be my test site. I thought what the hell and clicked it. Got the "upgrade is in progress" page, with an option to log in. I logged in with my adminCP credentials. After that, the upgrade proceeded as usual - I clicked through to the "no way to go back page," clicked through that, and my site seemed to upgrade fine...except now I can't log in! Every time I enter the correct credentials it says "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again."
  21. Hmm, ok. The "Who can use?" led me to expect some sort of menu to come up as soon as I enabled the app via the slider. I'm not really sure why all of the base options are listed under the "Customize" menu. Looks like the slider should be labelled "Enable Profile Backgrounds?" (on/off) so then "Customize?" would make more sense...to me anyway. I guess the placement of the wording made me wonder if something was missing.
  22. Hmm...just clean-installed this app on 4.6.7 and I get this in the adminCP settings page: Tried clearing the cache, tried reinstalling...same problem.
  23. Yep...and in my experience Microsoft Edge is one of the worst - I think it even cached server-side redirects after I had reverted them. 😑
  24. Well, it's a bit of an exotic issue...I think it was in fact a browser/caching issue or something to do with what I'm currently troubleshooting, which involves https: connections. So I had edited conf_global to toggle SSL on/off and it did weird things to my login, and then when I switched it back my browser (Edge) wasn't playing nice. So I switched to another browser and that seemed to clear things up. So, long story short - let sleeping conf_global.php's lie. 😉
