I have taken a quick look at your site, and before we continue, you really need to take a look at your 3rd party installations. At present you have errors being logged constantly from them, so even getting to the error messages you mention here is proving difficult. 
Currently you have:
A banner at the top of the page stating you have PHP8 incompatible items present. Thos will break things, and you need to address this
  36 x 3rd party applications. 16 of these are stating there are updates, so at least 16 are out of date, and there is no guarentee the others arent either. You would need to check. I would highly suggest checking and cutting back on these where you can
  28 x 3rd party plugins. As with the above,  there are 3 of these showing you they are out of date at last, and it may well simply be the others dont check for updates. 
  You also have 3rd party themes that are showing out of date on there.  
For context here, just of the 3rd party plugins & applications, there are 222 3rd party hooks, meaning 222 possible points of failure outside of the main software.

Needed a way to set a share image for topics for years, never happened and doubt it ever will. Yes I'm aware there is a default you can set so the same image shows for every topic, but who really wants that

Currently only active customers can comment. Before majority of IPS customers, used to ask question through IPS ticket system. Now it's through forum first. 
Can you enable commenting on existing topic/post, so even though I am not 'active' license holder but I still hold 6 licenses and hence allowed to comment. This way, I can help others because certain times in last few weeks, I thought, I can help but wasn't able to. 
It's understandable I can't create a topic but disallowing other users to help your existing customers, seems counter productive.

What should I save?
I imagine well on the database.
The language file and theme.
But then I don't know if there is anything else to do.

As was already mentioned in the post you mention from 2020, it is a large change that requires a major change in the platform. v5 is that major change, and even with that, we are having to move it part by part. While I understand you want this to change over night, its going to take time. 

How do I get the functionality described in this blog? I have already updated the version in AdminCP I think. Community is bi5on.com

Next week we plan on releasing a few blogs outlining what development looks like for Invision Community v5.
I was curious as to what changes you'd like to see, and what changes do you think are coming?

Classic (and cloud) discussion is very welcome in almost all areas of this community.
The cloud platform and classic version share the same base code. In fact, all of our development time so far with v5 has been on things that benefit classic as well as cloud.
There certainly isn't any neglect.

Reporting is a big part of forum management for our site - and our moderator team uses it extensively each day.
Often Reports raise topics that do require ongoing discussion and or evaluation between mods/admin, but reports only live a short life before they disappear into the Completed reports list.
It would be handy to be able to move a report to a discussion thread for further, well, discussion (Eg. an admin/mod-only subforum).
