    I've had "bad" PMs sent to other members, that someone wants to bring to my attention. Before, they could just forward it to me. Now they have to invite me to it, which just flat out shows I'm in their PM and its no longer "private"

    I have a dark skin and a light skin. Problem is no matter if I set the reCAPTCHA theme to normal or chrome, it looks utterly crap in one of the skins.

    Is it an easy fix to assign a recaptcha theme to a skin? Or is that something that would require a rework of some core code?

    IP.Chat and IP.Shoutbox are 2 different things :o

    IP.Shoutbox is made by a few community guys for free, and it is released at IPS Resources but that doesn't mean its an official release. IP. Chat is an official BETA release. Hope that clears it up.

    I don`t know if this is happening only to me or not, but everytime i open a ticket i receive a response in not less than 48h.
    It is very frustrating when i have some little issue that can be fixed in 5 min and i have to wait 2 days for an answer.
    Usually i resolve it myself after some research.

    You definitely have to review your support service, isn`t this why i pay 25$ every 6 months?

    When I want to PM someone, I usually click their name or visit their profile page. Upon visiting either one I click the little PM icon, in which pops up the quick PM. In almost every case I'm sending a member a PM to include something he/she ordered, which requires a PM attachment upload.

    However, the quick PM has no way to upload or go to the full editor. So I must then remember their username, go to the Messenger, compose a new message, type it out.

    Is it too difficult to add a simple "Go Advance", "Use Full Editor" or something along those lines in the quick PM pop up, that can send the current data in the textbox, or skip it into the main large PM editor box.

    Sorry you feel that way man. With over thousands of clients imagine the amount of tickets they get.

    They get to them as they finish others. They don't intentionally wait 24 hours then respond to your ticket.

    I'm sorry you feel that way.

    As stated in our standards of service page, we ask that you allow a 48 hour window for a reply. Of course, if it is urgent then you can make use of the 'Critical Issue' flag in the client center. This is for people who have a critical issue like their board is down, etc.




    I have looked up your ticket and I see that it was a general question regarding conversion that you chose to send into the Conversions and Transfers department. Ideally, that would have gone to sales as the C&T department is manned by fewer staff members than the technical support and sales departments. I realise that it's not abundantly clear but generally unless it is a matter dealing with an ongoing conversion or you are scheduling a conversion then you shouldn't need to send a ticket directly to it.

    If you would like faster guaranteed response times then you could consider purchasing a business license.

    Well, I don't think I can say anymore. I've stated my case which I think is reasonable. I'm genuinely sorry for the way that you feel. :)

    Sorry, would quickly like to address this:



    The point being that if the conversion department has 5 conversions that need to be performed ahead of your ticket which was just asking a question, then you will have to wait longer than if it went into sales. Generally speaking, there are more people active in sales and technical support and tickets are turned around faster in those departments.

    IPS Staff: I hate to say this but the IPS Upgrades are becoming a real inconvenient Annoyance.

    What am I talking about? Everytime there is a service update to IPB (2.0.1, 3.0.2, etc) the upgrade creates havok with the hooks that I have installed. Not only do I have to disable the hooks, but, they have to be un-installed and then re-installed. The upgrades are not anticipating already installed hooks and adjusting for them and it's becoming an annoyance.

    Does IPS plan on fixing this problem or is this going to be a regular 'romp and stomp' action with every upgrade/update? For one, I would love to see this corrected.

    I had to add this to 2.3.6 and I added the same thing to my 3.0.2 forum two days ago. I have a "My Posts" link on my forum index that returns all threads (well, it's limited to 1,000) that you have participated in. I still have to tweak it a bit, but it works. I converted to IPB from phpBB, so my users were pretty unhappy that IP.Board was missing this feature. When I upgraded to 3.0.2 I can't tell you how many people asked why that feature was missing. I had to scramble to add it back.

    Sure would be nice to see this as a stock feature since Invision is already so close. You can view all your posts and see all the threads you've started, but not all the threads you've participated in.

    I will submit this mod once I've had a little more time to work on it.
