That's just the modules of the app. The auto welcome doesn't need any because it's just utilizing hooks/extensions. I don't foresee any possible link unfortunately. Could you try uninstalling again, unzip the the "autowelcome.tar" into a folder called "autowelcome". Then upload that folder to the /applications/ folder and install from the admin cp that way? Perhaps the internal unzip and install is messing with the settings data somehow. Thanks for that information. Anyone else with this problem can confirm it's consistently reproduced with social media signups? Edit: I take it your also using the latest version of IPB?

Could you also check your ipn history logs? Any matches against known donations?

I believe you got a PM regarding this elsewhere that I will reply to soon. I offer a "copyright removal" addition on my site and typically gets a little discount when purchased with an app. But if you've already purchased through the IPS Marketplace, I can process that discount manually via Paypal. Just reply to your email.

Here are a few things that I recommend checking first. If you need me to check, I will need admin cp login details. Does the payment logs show any errors at all? After you setup your Paypal gateway, there is a link in the top instructions. Could you please try opening that link while logged out of your board? That will ensure that Paypal can access the Donations app. Have you checked that the IPN is enabled in Paypal itself? There was admittedly quite a few bugs just before this most recent update. v3.3.0 fixed nearly 2 dozen bugs and also added in IPB 4.2 compatibility. If you needed a demo to confirm what the latest version does, let me know. If you could point me towards the issues that concern you in the review I can then confirm it's been fixed or not. The only 2 negative reviews I can see currently are relating to the look of the Donations app. I guess that's something subjective to who is viewing it. I'm by no means a designer but if you have any specific instructions on UI improvements, let me know and will consider it. The other negative review is only half correct as the Donations app does support rewarding promotions based on total user donations as well as individual donations.

Could you try a full uninstall (remove applications/autowelcome/ folder after uninstalled) and then install again? It seems silly but just see if it then inserts the settings properly then. PM sent.

2, 3 and 4 are simple enough and will be definitely be included in a future release. I've had a few more requests about decimal support, a lot of the existing simple is based around no decimals so it's not something I can provide a patch for straight away.

You can click the remove icon for default blocks still.

Open the widget blocks when on the Portal main page and remove any default widgets like you would a widget on the forums.

Could you provide screenshots of the member reward you have setup? Are you awarding promotions for each donation or a members total donation count?

What version of IPB and Auto Welcome are you using? PM Sent. This was an issue back several IPB versions ago but was fixed a while ago. I can't reproduce this locally so will probably need board access to troubleshoot on your end.

Yes if you add the {member_name} quick tag to the fields "Default field value" setting. It will auto fill in the username of logged in members. No not currently. It was a feature of IPB 3.4 and something I'll look at adding again but currently it's not possible with this version. New update is not far away.

Provided you did a fresh install, any old files shouldn't have an affect. Could you let me know what types of auto welcome alerts your sending out? i.e. PM or email etc... And if you have ftp access to your IPB files to test out some code. This was fixed some time ago and I'm not able to reproduce this but it might be your server not parsing the member field properly.

Not entirely. There were a few hook point changes in IPB 4.2 that required a separate version be built for it.

Yep this is a confirmed bug. I've got a test patch that's being tested now and will soon be implemented in the main build.

I'm sorry I should of noticed this before but missed it. But the "Topic/Post Daily" setting should be enabled if you want to create only 1 topic a day and use the "{birthday_list}" quick tag.

I'm hoping you were able to solve this. Make sure you can reproduce this in non Portal locations, as that would indicate a problem with the widget itself. A few guesses but to be sure, could you either reply or PM me the contents of the block your trying to add so can test with it as well?

What do you currently use to run your tasks? A cron job or using web traffic? If you run the task manually, does it send anything out. (ACP > System tab > Advanced Configuration > View Tasks link > Run "Birthday Greeter" task.)

If your only going to maintain 1 currency, I would recommend modify the existing USD currency rather then adding a new one or removing the USD one. That way you've got the default currency already set. The member rewards use the default currency, which in this case would likely be the USD one still. So it sounds like your donating in GBP and not falling within a range of a reward using USD. Paypal probably moved it's location. If you login and then visit this url here - https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=_profile-ipn-notify Just make sure the "IPN Enabled" message is present. The rest of the gateway instructions can then be skipped.
