  1. Our site has been with Invision since 2004. From the days of IPB 1.x and free! We host local history discussions for The City of Nottingham UK. Many members have hosted their images with PB over the year, sadly some of those members are no longer with us. IPB are we any closer to a solution?
  2. Duplicate Members Logger

We upgrade to IPB4 soon, Hope to see this excellent ap continue
  3. Google Maps Media Code

Thanks Looks like a great tool but after installing I can resolve your address as above. Our local city URL is more complex: https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?safe=off&q=Long+Row+West,+Nottingham&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x4879c22aa35d7679:0x560bfdf39b9014ce,Long+Row+W,+Nottingham&gl=uk&ei=J53KUZGJHMSZ0AWo_oDwCg&ved=0CC8Q8gEwAA will not resolve in post, Google maps test any advice?
  4. I have had this error showing (twice) for some months. I have not noticed any problems? What kind of problems can I expect. I have contacted the host a couple of times they are reluctant to change the settings, why would that be. Yes I am considering changing hosts.
  5. Working great. Any image for 'Google Mobile' bot? 'Bing' shows on visitors but there is no image showing? Image in upload is 'MSNBing.png'
  6. Portal Plugin - Upcoming Birthdays

Tried to paste it at portal skeleton location. Where to paste. Top of template? Did not work. Still inside the Admin CP, visit the My Apps -> Portal page. Look for the row named Upcoming Birthdays and click the Options button to the right. From there you can view the Exportable Tag for it. That Exportable Tag, like all Portal Plugins, can be pasted into the Portal -> skeletonTemplate skin template or configured as a Custom Block to make the plugin appear on your Portal.
  7. -RAW31- Most Viewed Profiles

I installed it and when enabled, and displayng the main index I get the folowing error. Fatal error: Call to undefined method IPSLib::makeNameFormatted() in /public_html/forums/cache/skin_cache/cacheid_1/skin_global.php on line 1293
  8. Download Duplicate Members Logger Duplicate Members Logger v1.0.0 - Invision Power Services http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/2847-duplicate-members-logger-v100/ It works
  9. I have now disabled this App I tried to log in with duplicate accounts of ordinary members And only then got an error. It appears that possibly only duplicate members will see the following error? when they try to log on thus allerting them to the App? Warning: Missing argument 2 for reportLibrary::loadPlugin(), called in /home/*********/public_html/forums/admin/sources/classes/member/mudd_functions.php on line 528 and defined in /home/*******/public_html/forums/admin/applications/core/sources/classes/reportLibrary.php on line 267 Strict Standards: Creating default object from empty value in /home/*******/public_html/forums/admin/sources/classes/member/mudd_functions.php on line 533 Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::processReport() in /home/********/public_html/forums/admin/sources/classes/member/mudd_functions.php on line 545
  10. Installed I logged in as different users, It did not show the connection? Maybe because I am an admin, I am already whitelisted?
  11. Friends only accepted as default

Surely this should be set as a default in the board design, to prevent every member of every forum in having to do it. Currently quite nasty trolls are exploiting this and other IPB loopholes to post foul information and abuse on our board.
  12. Currently the board has automatic acceptance of friend requests. By default this should be set that members approve all friend requests, and can choose to automatically approve friendships if they wish. I have some banned members who added me as a friend before they got themselves banned. This is a security issue and current default setting should be changed.
  13. It should be written into the code that Banned/validating members should by default not be visible anywhere? That would save everyone having to reset these values in ACP. Many will only find the need to do this when they are targeted like we are being targeted. These people have found a weakness in the code and are exploiting it to great effect! Currently even admins cant see who is online.
  14. Dealing with the Trolls

  15. Can confirm that some admins have seen the obscene validating names and moved them to the banned group. We do not delete these users as the IP addresses are evidential. I have removed 'new members' from display as advised above. Suggestion Banned members and validating members should not be visible in the normal members list.
