  1. We're launching a select number of game downloads on the iArcade community, at http://iarcademod.com/forums/index.php?/files/ As we move forward, hopefully this will reduce the number of issues and complaints we have had regarding where to download games.
  2. I don't see why a backup tool is a feature that a majority of users would need. You can either leave the tar files on your server, save them on your hardrive, upload them to the cloud.... is having a backup feature really that important? If it is, please let us know so that we can reevaluate.
  3. Thanks for the headsup, I will look into that.
  4. There are lots of games that you can download for free at ibpdownloads.com
  5. Yes, it has favorites. Yes, it does notify you when your high score is beaten (as long as you have notifications enabled). We will look into view new content. Unfortunately we don't want to conflict with the other two arcade apps, which both use "arcade". http://iarcademod.com/forums/index.php/tracker/issue-32-google-chrome-no-controls/ does that work?
  6. As Lewis said - not all servers support .htaccess so that's not something we're comfortable using. Our hook works almost perfectly. Can you be more descriptive than that? That's the point: http://iarcademod.com/forums/index.php/topic/27-same-user-more-than-1-score/ Can you please visit our support site and open a ticket so that we can take a look? That's odd that it randomly stopped working... did you upgrade IPB or iArcade?
  7. Glad to hear it's fixed for both of you.
  8. Well only seeing one hook installed is your problem. Double check your installation, there should be two hook files contained in the download. /admin/applications_addon/other/iarcade/xml/hooks/ there should be two. Reimport the scoring one. Scoring will then work.
  9. The games use hardcoded URLs to submit their scores. Many, many games were written back in the old days of IPB 2, which used that old scoring URL. There's nothing we can do to change or fix that - the games are hardcoded to submit to that URL. This is one of the reasons that I mentioned earlier about us wanting to find a more modern game submitting format.
  10. In the ACP, edit games, there's a setting for if a game should be sorted by low or high scores.
  11. Awesome. Can the previous posters please also verify issue status with the update?
  12. Are you still having issues with categories or with importing from FTP?
  13. iArcade 1.2 Beta 2 has been submitted to the IPS Marketplace and is pending approval. For full release notes, please see: http://iarcademod.com/forums/index.php/topic/34-12-beta-2-released-whats-new-in-beta-2/
  14. Can you please open a support ticket on our site so that I can take a look? Include ACP and FTP access. Correct. The flash files have to be decompiled and recoded to the ibProArcade v32 format, which is the one we support. If you are interested in compiling your own flash games, please get in touch with us. We're looking at bringing the old v32 format up to date with a more "modern" approach. (v32 has been around since IPB 2.0) All of these are bugs which are fixed in Beta 2.
  15. Hey guys! We're looking for more feedback! We've created a quick poll, it's only one question long, so that we can gather feedback to improve a certain layout of the site. If you've got time to answer 1 question, please head on over to the topic: http://iarcademod.com/forums/index.php/topic/24-should-we-display-game-descriptions-in-the-acp-game-listings/ *no registration is required to answer* http://iarcademod.com/forums/index.php/topic/24-should-we-display-game-descriptions-in-the-acp-game-listings/
  16. For those of you who have expressed interest in the ibProArcade converter and are comfortable with bleeding-edge beta testing, please read this topic: http://iarcademod.com/forums/index.php/topic/23-calling-all-ibproarcade-users/
  17. The tar files are left on the server unless you delete them. You can just download them off the server.
  18. What do you mean by this?
  19. Lewis and I are still writing the converter. It is not complete. You cannot yet convert from ibproarcade to iArcade. Your paths are wrong. No double slash. If you can't get it to work, submit a support ticket and I'll take a look.
  20. Upload the tars either one at a time via the ACP form, or dump a bunch of tars into the directory with FTP and then import them all via the ACP.
  21. What is the exact error? Fixed. Thanks. :P

  23. It's on our short list. No worries. here's the rough database map... there's some quirks along the way like how we each store things and convert things.... but.... it looks like everything is going to be good to go on a converter app. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress. I plan to start working on it very shortly.
  24. Lewis has mapped out the database tables and we're both going to take a look at it shortly. Priority #1 was getting the main release out.
