  1. I apologize if this has been answered, as I have not read the entire topic but did my best to search for this: Is there a way for members to use points as a payment method in Commerce?
  2. Are the features listed as "(4.2)" on the description only for Forum 4.2, or will they be upgraded to 4.3 as well? https://cl.ly/0s15450Z2E0Z
  3. The author of the mod is no longer +Active, and as such, no longer has access to the download topics here. (someone correct me if I am wrong...) It also appears from his profile that no longer checks these forums. Your best bet would be to PM him.
  4. The community suite was removed, and pricing has changed on IP.Content, has it not? Can someone update the first post?
  5. I used the word "wrap" on my original topic that was linked to, my screenshot demonstrates why. My bad. And yes, this should be a setting. I dont see why it wouldnt be, really. :/
  6. At this point with all the bugs today, I would have rather had them wait another day. :/
  7. I mentioned that when I said one was technical and one was general - The general one was still resolved in an hour. (I just checked, actually it was 64 minutes. Same difference.) Webhosts tend to have 1-2 hour reply times as well, so I consider that IPS has a very good reply time. I dont think there is a need to have "priority" tickets more than what IPS already has internally, based on things I have seen here. My general questions still get answered in an hour.
  8. After having opened 2 tickets today at around the same time, I had one of them fully resolved before the other even got a first reply. However, one of them was a technical bug in the software that is being patched by IPS, the other was a general inquiry. (For the record, both were answered in under an hour) From watching the IP.Nexus demo's that were posted years ago, it leads me to believe that IPS must have "some sort" of severity system in place based on what is in Nexus. You and I might normally set everything to "Low" priority, but from personal experience, most people think that everything is urgent. The current system is fair - everyone gets a turn in line. And a 1 hour response time, regardless, is impressive. From ticket numbers that got posted to the tracker today, it seems that IPS gets about 7 tickets every 10 minutes. I think they do a great job keeping up with things and helping their users.
  9. Change of directory, using a subdomain now, a new board name, new site.... lots of reasons to possibly change it.
  10. oh yeah, how did we all forget the spam service? :frantics:
  11. The point of the low-fi version is to be low fi.... no graphics or fancy scripts. You can always change to the FULL version. The problem is, changing from the FULL to the LOW takes ages to load it if it loads the wrong one by mistake.
  12. Not to hijack this, but how does IPB know if it is a mobile or not? I visited my site from my LG Dare and got the full version.
  13. Emailing sales@invisionpower.com is the fastest way to get that cleared up.
  14. I think that is what most people are coming from, and that is why alot of people seem to think IPS is trying to get people on to the new license format. Because technically, perpetual users do have an active support license.
  15. You are missing the key stress that matt has made several times. This is not a feature, it is a service. The argument many are making is that, if they are +Active and can use the resources site, why can they not use a service that is offered.
  16. Im hitting the limit and ive found myself bookmarking 2 posts so I can go back and +rep them when my quota is up. :S Sometimes when arguments or debates get going in topics I like to +rep people who make a good statement instead of jumping in to the debate.
  17. I don't know what he was thinking by it, but what I would like to see if possible would be the ability to match spam registrations across all of the converge registrations.
  18. I agree there, I twittered that as soon as I read the news. I agree that as long as they are +active they should have it. :/ (then again, im NOT a perpetual user anymore. so who am I to gripe)
  19. This sounds like a great feature, hopefully it will be maintained well and will cut down on spam. A great benefit over "other" forum software.
