  1. This has been posted for a year and a half... in fact back in April of 2023. https://invisioncommunity.com/search/?&q="status updates"&search_and_or=or&updated_after=1680307200&updated_before=1682812800
  2. They’re using a firewall to restrict access to the resource. This is MUCH more secure than simply renaming the folder.
  3. Awesome! These incremental changes are certainly appreciated!

Those are not what you are looking for. You need the PHP error log. The events listed above are not related to your issue.
  5. You can also use a firewall or htaccess to limit access via IP address. Simply renaming it does not help stop any kind of real attack. Web scanning tools can find renamed folders relatively easily in today's world. If you really want to protect the ACP more, use 2FA and a firewall to limit access.
  6. IPS has already said this is not going to be reconsidered. So I would not expect to see this changed. Think of this as "Back to Top".
  7. As someone who moved to cloud in Oct 23 (a little over a year ago), I did not have any issues with the 3rd party resources that my community used. It was a very smooth process and it's been nice not having to worry about the "rest of the stack".
  8. IPS in general does not give dates for releases. However given that IPB5 is in beta now, it should not be too long. I would expect end of the year or very early next personally. There are three major US holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) coming up and IPS generally (historically) does not do releases around those times as they don't want to deal with big problems during times when they are on reduced staff and trying to celebrate like the rest of us.
  9. Layer 3/4 would be the network and transport layers, which would be the DDoS protection.
  10. In Google searching the error, it appears to be a Chrome issue. https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=chrome+status_access_violation&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
  11. Also remember with Cloudflare... when testing, you can't just disable caching. It's not a download issue (which is what putting the site in development mode would do). You would have to test with it bypassing CF entirely. (Meaning DNS needs to be a grey box instead of orange and all traffic going directly to origin.)
  12. Are you using cloudflare? Cloudflare has limits around uploads, especially on the free plans.
  13. Highly disagree that it's "one of the most frequently used controls".
  14. Does this happen if you use a new/fresh/vanilla theme? I’ve seen this happen due to an outdated theme before.
  15. The communication for this for your security should be done via the ticket that Jim created for you.
  16. You can email or open a request in the client area. Be sure to select the cloud plan you want to manage.
  17. Version 5 does not have plugins. Everything must be an application.
  18. I don’t use anonymous posting. Personally flagging someone as the OP seems to defeat the purpose of posting anonymously.
  19. Support is primarily done via this forum and is the starting place for requests typically. It has been that way for well more than a year. If there is something that needs to be handled privately, a staff member can move the request to a ticket (over email).
  20. Have you cleared your cache? If that did not work, its possible you're ISP is doing some sort of DNS caching.
  21. You said that you have blocked them, but the question is if it's still them accessing the site. Look at your server logs to confirm. It may not be the traffic you're blocking that is problematic for you. If you're seeing IPs that are supposed to be blocked, then obviously there would be a configuration problem.
  22. IPS generally won't talk about their plans until there is something more concrete. Given their focus on getting IPB5 released, it's unlikely anything like that would happen soon. They've already said they're feature locked and not making any more large changes while they work to get the beta released. Even after 5.0.0 comes out, they'll most likely be focused on smashing those post release bugs that managed to stay hidden in the early releases. Personally I stick with Google Analytics and that has been sufficient for my needs.
  23. The modules are no longer a-la-cart. Because if you have an Invision Community Classic or Invision cloud package, they're already included. And you can't run IPB 5 unless you're on one those license types. You seem to be posting just fine...
