Are there any plans to allow the setting and checking of an on-server bounce address? This was a feature that Xenforo had that I miss. I don't wish to use an external service, but I would at least like to flag and send bad emails to the validation queue. If you are able to implement this, I will purchase.

A main reason might be that it’s an admin feature by design. Everything about the set-up of Pages happens in the ACP. Setting up pages, databases, fields, templates – all ACP features. It’s a powerful and therefore complex app that can’t just be easily expose to club owners (i.e. regular members). The Pages app would have to be rewritten to be front-end editable. And if you do that, you open a huge security hole, since Pages allows a lot of raw code everywhere. 
There might be a chance for feasible compromises though and I am hoping it will come someday.

Referrers is not something I want to get into with this application, maybe in the future I might but not at this time

Is it not working for you? Will improve the language string if there is another bug release, but it's already possible for you to change it as it is now.

Currently there are only unchangeable "featured files" / "newest files" / "popular files" preview bars, but this doesn't suit my requirements. I require

  in the files details page, currently there is only the "screenshots bar" with the thumbnails images, but I think it should be more of a sensational shop with a BIG PRIMARY IMAGE or a banner. nowadays, users want to see EYE-CATCHING COVER IMAGES. For IPS, marketplace files functionality (text) might be the most requested information, but for other products (f.e. music or video downloads) users decide about purchases also by looking at images or video! Therefore, the layout looks pretty lost, lame, unspectacular.
  members (file authors) want their own / personal members downloads shops. Have a look at the classifieds app and the "user store concept". This should be realized for downloads, too, and connected to the user profiles pages. My file authors wish to have big profile banners for their downloads (with their commercial logos), introduction texts to their own shops and more

We certainly understand that 🙂I'm almost positive v4 will be maintained for a considerable period of time after v5 is available. That said, we of course need to continue to press forward and modernize the platform, especially in terms of UI and taking advantage of more modern approaches to development. We will of course do everything we can to make it as painless as possible when the time comes.

It's just that I spend so much time dialing in behavior, performance and functionality, the right custom apps, payment gateways, daily work flow and process, plus server settings. It sounds like an actual nightmare to have to start over on this. I can't imagine why I would want to do that???
At the very least it would cause me to lose a significant amount of sales and frustrate my users. For what benefit? What new "must have" feature is so important that I want to go through that again?
I will never forget how hard it was going from 3 to 4 and if I never have to do that again in my entire life it will still be too soon.
Do you see where I am coming from here?

Hi. This is a great slider but I would really like to see in it the ability to display images in a GRID (as in the gallery).

It would be nice, if the timestamp / date would be shown in the ModCP member account deletion listing, when a member has requested his account to be deleted.
Our staff only looks into this mask from time to time, and sometimes, we keep member accounts alive for further checks, before we delete them.
So, if we could see, when the deletion request was initially entered in the system, that would be very helpful.

I found this app useful for almost all communities as I started to see an increased number of users that register only to leave links and never return.
As @NeedCoffee suggested Number of posts till someone is able to post a link is useful because most of the spammers will not make 5 or 10 posts before blasting a link and they will leave while legitimate users will take time to build their profile and post number before placing any links.

What record? Different community admins, different opinions, different use cases. I'd like to see more ambitions concerning progressive web app development, and app look & feel styling as well as all the other benefits granted by apps. My target demographic members are young people that prefer apps. I'd be willing to pay my share if someone will come up with a longterm-supported solution. I really hope this will happen one day. 🍾🥂💥
